I have named it "A Monkey." But yes, the amiibo does have derp eyes.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser Charizard![]()
They're all Derpy Kongs. I can't believe I just found that out now.
I'm slowing down to completing one challenge a week now. But it's fine, every one I knock out gives me confidence that I can finish them all.
As for training my amiibos, it's gotten tough. I'm working with the First 8 and they've all gotten so good that I have to put on handicaps to have a chance to beat them, at least in team battles. Also, I give my team higher handicaps too so I have a better chance of coming out first. ;p
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayThey sort of almost learn off your moves. They suck at first, but there will be a time that they make Level 9's look like
actually let's make a list!
1. Classic Mode Intensity 0
2. Smash Run: Run! With Max Sonic
3. Smash Run: Climb! With Jigglypuff
4. Level 1 CPU
5. Winning the match with the Gust Bellow
6. Most of the Little Mac players online.
but they don't really LEARN from you. they can never Bowsercide or such things unless by accident.
Does anyone here hate being forced to use items other than what they like (Smash Balls for me in 3ds/Wii U)? I especially dislike having items like the Golden Hammer in because of how blatantly overpowered it is. Pokemon from the Poke Ball and Master Ball can also be blatantly overpowered. It's worse when I say that they're unfair, yet my mom tells me to let them be on...Again, I prefer losing to someone because they are a better fighter than me over losing to someone because they had an item in play.
I should make that a house rule: No items except for Smash Ball. Only problem is my mom's logic of "if you don't like people asking you to put items on, then don't play with others".
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!I was the only one of my group Saturday night that can play with very little items.
I probably wouldn't have as much an issue if Nintendo didn't give you the option to set their appearance rate to high (I've gotta put them on very low if people want items).
It's weird, the people who I played with on Saturday are about 1-2 years older than me (one's a current student of my mom's, and the other is a former student) will openly ask me to turn on items, yet my friends who are about my age don't care how many items I have on.
I wouldn't also mind if Nintendo made the default setting for items to be "off".
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Bring dem items I say! Nothing quite like the reaction of an entire room when a huge-ass Pokémon infiltrates the premises, or when someone gets this powerful satisfying-to-use item.
And to be honest, you seem to be taken your matches far too seriously is you insist on turning items off against your mother for a fair match. Don't get me wrong, for all I know she may be a badass tournament champion, but the whole thing does sound silly.
Smash has set its lighthearted easy-to-play hard-to-master tone since the first one, putting great focus in having entire rooms of either experts or new people have at it with each other. Having items on by default is proof of that, and chances are it won't change any time soon for what's in all honesty the very competitive minority.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."I don't like the "If you don't like items then don't play with people (that do)" logic. But I like items, they keep things from getting stale. I also don't care much if I win or lose when I'm in an item-playing mood, I'm more interested in seeing what happens and having fun. At least for me, there isn't any items that equal press B to win', Dragoon and Daybreak get close but those can still be evaded and are hard to collect unless people aren't paying attention.
Also, has anyone seen someone with a hammer on Green Hills Zone break the floor and fall into the abyss? That was kinda funny!
You know what I like about Mii maker mode for SSB 4?
The fact that, after all these years, I can make Charlie Brown finally get revenge on Lucy, having him team up with Ness and Duck Hunt to for aid. And with 8 players, I can throw Luigi, Captain Falcon, Little Mac, and Fox into the mix.
Basically, after all these years of giving torment to poor Charlie Brown, we can FINALLY put Lucy through a Trauma Conga Line. AND put her on the receiving end of a Falcon Punch.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

That event is fun, too. I just find the concept of the Duck Hunt event strange. How else can you explain it to your friends?
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.
