Marth (and Lucina by extension), Dr. Mario (due to iffy recovery), Ganondorf, Link, Samus, and Palutena (uncustomized) are the ones I know are considered by most to be low tier (not that it matters too much since this game is relatively well balanced). I was gonna mention Mii Swordfighter, but you already did. There's also Bowser Jr. & the Koopalings by association which I believe has something to do about their difficulty killing peeps and others having better toolkits.
There's a small minority who think Luigi is in the bottom 40% because of his poor approach, but most people are in agreement that he belongs to the high tiers (some even talk about top 10, but that's probably a bit of a hyperbole) for now due to all the options he gets when he gets the opponent where he wants them to be: In his attack range.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Ack. That game theory almost made me cry. I feel so bad for Sakurai now. -sniff-
Besides I have my own theory. The child story was abandoned and it is now about how all the spend their time after they die. Their adventures are over and this is their afterlife.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardIn Smash 4, however, he and his brother have evidently allowed their Blood Knight tendencies to metaphorically fly for more than five minutes too close too the sun, and so you must save him from himself after he transforms into Master Core.
... I mean, obviously!
I sure said that!I just go with the idea that all Nintendo franchises (sans Kirby and Metroid) take place on the same planet. Kingdoms like Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom would be technologically far behind Corneria City and Port Town.
The Earth-Like planet in this universe is actually Corneria, with Corneria City being the capital city of the whole planet. Samus would hail from Corneria, but most of her adventures take place on other planets.
Pop Star (Kirby's homeworld), in my headcanon, is actually a strange moon of Corneria that can support life. It's considered part of Corneria, however. So Kirby, Meta Knight, Dedede, and other Kirby characters can travel to Corneria to aid other Cornerian heroes when necessary, or compete in racing/sports/fighting TOURNAMENTS.
In my headcanon, the franchises Mega Man, Sonic, Pac-Man, and Metal Gear also take place on Corneria.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Corneria must be huge then, since it's theorized that Popstar is the same size as Earth. At least, that's what I've heard.

Which has its own moon.
And if Corneria's the planet, then no wonder Fox was such a top tier.
I always thought that, but on an intergalactic scale. Its why you see Metroids and Samus on Popstar in one of the games: A few Metroids escaped onto Popstar, Samus goes to take care of them, but then Kirby already defeats them.
I too have only ever hit people with Greninja's counter when the opponent used an extraordinarily slow / delayed move on me - otherwise, it can easily be blocked or dodged due to the delay between the teleport and the actual attack. I personally consider it Awesome, but Impractical, even moreso than the other counters in this game.

I don't use Greninja that much, but landing a counter with him/her feels awesome.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?Yeah, Greninja's counter can be potentially shielded/countered if you over use it and doesn't stun like most of the other counters. But it's still pretty awesome if you surprise someone with it, but over using any one movie is kind of a bad idea.
In other news, I didn't know there was more than 1 level of rage. Good to know!
Greninja's counter is something you use very sparingly so as to catch your opponent off-guard, like Shadow Sneak. It has a great reward if you hit with it so it's definitely a move you should not underestimate, even if the opponent does shield you usually get away with it since he goes too far to be attacked, so there's really no loss if you happen to miss.

I don't mind Falco's new voice, but his Brooklyn Rage from Assault and Brawl was superior. Fox's new (old?) voice is pretty bad, though.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
