Well now I'm curious what other things can be taunt-blocked... Might have to experiment with that sometime. That reminds me, when you assign messages to your taunts do they apply to all online modes? Or just during stuff with friends?
And also I found out it can be pretty fun to interrupt Sonic's spin dash with Water Shuriken.

Taunt messages are just Friends only. Presumably Nintendo was worried about offensiveness in the For Anyone modes.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I just realized something about Greninja. Those things on his arms and legs are water. Or they are sacks filled with water. Was this obvious? Am I the last to figure this out?

I thought those white spots were foam, allowing Greninja to fall in line with the bubble theme of the rest of the Froakie evolutionary line.
I saw it jiggling around like a water drop. I almost went insane. I didn't ever think they were liquid.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI saw it during his victory animation where he uses Double Team.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardWhenever I fight with my amiibos, I feel conflicted.
On the one hand, I want them to be the best they can be.
On the other hand, I don't want them to be better than me.
Saddest thing though—by the time they turn 50 they're typically already better than me, and they only get better. I wish I had that kind of reaction time, but I can't press buttons INSIDE the game where they get to go
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayYep, once Frogadier's bubble scarf was replaced by Greninja's tongue, the bubbles were relocated to its elbows and knees.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I like to let my amiibos fight while I sit back to watch and listen to the music. I can take a break while my they train themselves.
And the tips say that amiibos get even better when they fight other amiibos, so this is good.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI know it's been a while, perhaps a bit too long since the game came out to point this out, but can I ask who was picking the music out for this game and thought, "You know what we need? Eight different versions of the DK Jungle music."
I mean, seriously, I think there's even more versions of that in the game than the Super Mario Bros ground theme.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I love my amiibos so much. I love to watch them fight and grow.
Sometimes I'm hard on them, and sometimes I pick favorites, but I still want them all to be the best they can be.
I'll cry when I have to send them all to college...XP
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayI put in my other Amiibos finally. Luigi nicknamed as Waluigi, Peach as Daisy, Yoshi as Boshi, and Donkey Kong as PinkeyKong. The colors are what you think they would be.
Daisy destroyed everyone in an 8-Player Smash. She was not level 50 at the time either. Those stood no chance. Don't mess with the Princess. XD
Shadow?I can only guess it's because multiple composers wished to use their take on the track- To be certain, it's a really catchy track.

Is this a Jo Jo reference? At least the Donkey Kong side of the soundtrack contains one of my favorite songs in the game, namely the DKCR remix with vocals.

I'm not sure if comboing with Greninja's down-taunt will ever be practical. But that's pretty funny to see :)
