That's different though. That's the r/smashbros tier list, which was done by voting.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Diddy is pretty much Boring, but Practical to an extreme. His tactics are very predictable, but they're so effective it doesn't really matter, his bananas are either going to make you trip and allow him to either grab you or Smash you for the kill, or you're going to shield it and he's going to grab you anyway because he was likely running towards you while tossing the banana. All of his moves are very safe to use as well.
The only weakness Diddy has is that his recovery is below average due to how easily you can knock him out of it, but that's not enough to stop him, or Ness for that matter.
Is this going to be the first game since his debut that Marth isn't top tier?
I'm also really sad to see Palutena so low but I guess her real strength is only evident when allowed to use custom Specials. I really hope the tourneys allow those that way we can get a full gauge on exactly how strong the fighters are.
I'm also sad to see that Rosalina is the highest among my planned mains since she really isn't the archetype I fight best with. I've been considering using Shulk as well so that's good.
Of course, I could just laugh in the face of tier lists, pick Lucy, and kick everyone's ass anyway. That would probably be more satisfying.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! The Koopas placement on that list displeases me.

Well if you air dodge and grab the banana from the air, then you rob Diddy Kong of his tripping option and he can't exactly grab you from the air since the delay lag of his throw prevents him from going straight to his Side B.
idk, this is just how I've handled Diddy Kongs.

They'll find some weakness in Diddy's playstyle at some point. Just you wait.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."I honestly find his Banana setups as more of an opportunity than anything else, since that briefly robs him of pretty much all of his main kill moves.
Then again, I usually play a character that's been spending half of his match time in the air, so.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI am so upset right now! My brother and I were playing For Glory and after we got a wicked combo (Little Mac Front Smash then K.O. Uppercut) the game asked us if we were sure we wanted to leave. We selected no and and it kicked us out!
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI haven't confirmed this yet, but apparently the trophy mishap that caused that whole kerfluffle a few pages back is only in the PAL version of the game. I'm still not happy about it, but it's not as bad as it could have been.
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSDiddy is only high tier because no one can find a reliable strategy to beat him.
Is this a Jo Jo reference? At least I've gotten used to Palutena without her Customs by now, but her other specials seem much more useful (especially her Down B customs; I'm not getting much mileage out of her Counter compared to other characters that have counter moves).
I don't have much to say about the rest of the list, though Sonic and Mega Man are much higher than I anticipated, which pleases me.

For further reference on how things are changing, compare that tier list to the one made back in November.

You'll see a lot of characters who began to improve as people got more time to play with them, as well as some who had unfortunate drops. Though that list is prior to the nerf fest.
