Diddy Kong.
Smash 4 is probably the only game that features a couple of plumbers who don't do any plumbing, a humanoid robot, some elf dudes who never talk, partially eaten cheese, a sadistic laughing dog, and a faceless gymnast...all at the same time.
I know the plumbers did some plumbing in one of their latest games, but that hardly makes up for over a quarter-century doing anything but.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. They do some plumbing in a couple of games but they largely don't.
I've heard that the Tier List this time around isn't that important since the gaps between characters is a lot smaller. Is that still true?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Haven't they had pipes as a method of transportation since day one?
Perhaps the 3D games took them away from it for a while, but it never actually stopped (pretty sure that SMG games brought them back).
Unless you mean literal plumbing with plungers and everything, in which case I ask what Mario game haven't I heard anything about that suddenly came out.

Remember the intro of 3D World? They did some pipe-fixing in that.

At the beginning of 3D World, Mario and Luigi fix the clear pipe that connects the Mushroom and Sprixie Kingdoms together.

AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!Look at it this way: You're celebrating gaming's biggest icons... by beating them all up.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectYou mean, like a bounty hunter who's surprisingly a woman, a couple of Eskimo kids (who were cut out of the game), a two-dimensional ink man, a giant blue ninja frog with a freakishly long tongue, a bipedal dog thing, and later a bipedal cat thing?
I could go on.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy. And a zero-gravity race track where masked men (?) race on go-karts.
Ah, Smash, you do spoil us so.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectPerhaps it's simply because he's a lot lower level than my Pikachu aMiibo, but my Link aMiibo is a lot easier for me to play against.
Of course, it could also be all that tier stuff. I'm not sure yet. I know Link got the hang of fighting a lot faster than Pikachu, but he hasn't gotten to the "I need lots of help to win this" stage yet.
