I once faced off against one scarily good Jigglypuff. I could barely land a hit on her, what with the little prick floating all over the place. Never tried to use rest on me.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Rest is risky...but its really not that hard to use, its best used after guarding.
Its not necessary at all if you're already good with Jiggy, being good witth it is just adding an extra move to your play-styles.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Rest can activate really fast, but I've only used it on Giant battles in 3DS classic since they're harder to miss.
Also I decided to test the waters online in For Fun with Greninja today, spent most of the time doing pretty poorly and not sure if it was from being bad with Greninja or being bad with 4 players at once. Or worse, both! Got a little frustrating until I ended up in a team match with Zamus against two Lucario and got 4 points while everyone else was in the negatives. So that was probably the highlight of my day, even if I ran into trouble against Japanese players after that.
I kinda wish there was a 1 vs 1 option in For Fun though.

Eh? A tiny bit of health recovery and a launch power boost every 45 seconds or so really isn't that much of an advantage, and the momentum canceling is shared with a bunch of other characters.
You can force one on the stage select screen with LZ and another with RZ- I'm afraid I forget which is which.

I sure said that!Over powered because of the Healing Factor? Or the boost? I'm never sure when to use it since I don't play WFT too much. It's helpful, but doesn't last too long and you use it too much the amount of time it takes to actually work can leave you wide open, seem to balance out to me.
I'm not sure how the move works in 4, but in order to properly rest you basically have to either be dashing into or jumping on top of your opponent in order to hit; in Melee the hitbox was a tiny dot right on Jiggly's forehead or something. In Melee at least it was also a 1-frame move that came out in one frame and had only one active frame.
It seems crazy to think Jr. almost got the axe, considering he's the one character who seems tailor-made for 8P mode thanks to the Koopalings. He is the most unconventional newcomer in the game with him using the Junior Clown Car as a mount rather than on his own. I wonder what specifically about his moveset or character was big enough of an issue to give his place in the game a scare. Or, maybe it was making the Koopalings as 7 individually-dedicated costumes that almost killed him off the game.
Urrg, I wish he would go into closer detail.

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Bad News Most People Won't Care About: Looks like my own circle pad's cover has decided to give way. Going to see if I can get it to stay usable through more... simplistic methods.
Good News Most People Won't Care About: Immediately before that, I seem to have accidentally discovered Bomb Kirbycide.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI don't really use him, but I like Bowser Jr, he's quirky. It sounded to me just that they weren't sure if they could get him finished on time when the idea came up, or something? I'm not used to following the meta or behind-the-scenes stuff.
You might have to describe this -cide you speak of. And good luck keeping your circle pad functoning
Other good news that everybody but me probably knew: I found out if you're holding a fairy bottle and your damage goes over 100% it activates almost instantly. I found it more amusing than I should that making someone hit me completely healed me.
- Take any move (or possibly item) that can explode while held (Links' bombs, Jr's Mechakoopas, etc.) and keep it held for a given amount of time.
- Now grab the character holding the "bomb" as Kirby and use Ninja Drop (though Meta Knight's and Charizard's
copycatup-throws will probably also work). - Hilarity Ensues *
And thanks, I'll try.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyToday I finally hopped on the Amiibo bandwagon. I wanted to get Fox, but the local Walmart didn't have him and everywhere else was closed, so I settled for a Yoshi instead (since I do play Yoshi quite a bit). I named him Boshi.
Some hours later he's level 50 and consistently three stocking me and happily defeating level 9 CPUs. Explosive Perfect Shield + Lifesteal = one really tough opponent; you land a hit at the wrong time and you get blown up, and a lot of the time whatever damage you land on him gets healed off when he hits you. He does get a little suicidal at times (I think he's trying to copy my Dark Pit; a lot of the time he tries being aggressive offstage and winds going too deep), though.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Cpu are less likely to taunt simply from doing K.O.s I notice...only randomly high leveled ones do it.

I HATE overcompetitive players in any game. The ones that make rules in FPS games like "no shooting in the back, that's being a coward" or "announce when you attack". Stuff like "no camping" I accept because that IS cheating. (Smart, but still cheating) But shooting someone in the back is smart. When you are killing someone, you do not want them to know you're gonna kill them. Plus, in a war, you need strategy in order to survive. Plus, I suck against human players, that's why i usually have them on my team when I play local (I hate online matches. I always die in them. Yes, I suck at FPS games) It doesn't help that my friends LOVE that genre.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!

The hitbox is smaller than Jigglypuff's model- You need to have the target be visibly clipping into you.
I sure said that!
