My least favorite opponents has turned out to be ROB if only because I have annoying memories of the kinds of people who played him by rolling around and spamming projectiles and only doing that, save for the rare grab to throw you away before he begins rolling again. I don't know if that's common, but I've run into at least four people who played like that and it was cancerous.
Though in part I'm forced to admit that's due to my own issues with dealing with cowardly play using my mains.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!I wouldn't say that there are characters I dread facing, though I do cringe a bit nearly every time Falcon and either Samus are picked, regardless of whether or not the player him/herself is "good".
ROBs and DHDs are a bit too rare for me to feel like I can accurately judge them, on the other hand, but considering what little experience I do have with them and how endlessly enjoyable Rosalina fights are already, it might as well stay that way.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyNo characters I really dread as far as human players go (used to think Greninja was the bane of my existance, but For Glory Greninja weren't shit compared to Full Moon's gameplay style), although part of the reason I consider myself to have to in-tandem mains (Mega Man and Palutena) is because I tend to find myself having issues with some character types more difficult with one character than the other (fast characters when I'm Mega Man for example), so I usually switch if I think I need to. However, it's been so long since I've faced a human opponent that I don't think that's accurate for me to say anymore.
...The closest character I'd say I'd hate to fight is Mario though, due to my brother maining him (among other characters, but Mario was his #1 until Brawl when he decided to play other fighters). Mario's "averageness" makes him a really good counter to any specialized character I play, which is probably why I have multiple mains in the first place.
As far as the AI is concerned, however, any character with a counter can go smash themselves off the stage. And for some reason, AI!Robin gives me a lot of trouble as Pally/Peach. I'm guessing that I'm just not used to how strong Robin's attacks are, plus that character (and Shulk & Lucina) always ends up being the hardest character(s) for me to fight during All Star Hard.

Well, it did introduce the first FE character in this series without a Counter.
I remember getting absolutely no sympathy from an Ike player (I think I mentioned it in passing earlier) who spiked me twice, in different ways each time (dair first time, Aether second time) and ended the fight in under 45 seconds with only 16 damage put on him. It was horrifying.
I quite enjoy For Glory since I can't get access to my friends for smash too often sadly, and it lets me test myself against human opponents.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia!I've learned not to dread the characters. I've been juggled, humiliated, and stomped by all of them. I just dread really really good players.
Apparently, Mario's doing great in the meta, currently. This pleases me, but what's with the bump?

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018

I've always hated Lucario. The way he gets stronger when he gets more damage is really dangerous to me.
And I also hate playing with him because I don't like relying on getting hit so much to hit harder.
