Of course! If the problem is that you're not having enough difficulty, then you can pay for more!
Or there's always handicapping. Or changing your button layouts.
They're just lowly robots, Faw, they can't help it~

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayLanding that dashing counter is one of the most satisfying things in the game for me. The sound effects, the visuals, the flying frogs...
Yep, that attack has some surprising range. I have some serious trouble when it comes to dealing with mind-gaming, especially when the slight lag means I have to pull my dodges and counters with some very slight anticipation. I have enough issues already when doing it comes to doing it in real time.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."@Beaver: We actually have a thread dedicated to challenging others to online bouts, entitled 'Super Smash Bros Multiplayer'.
Best not to clutter up this thread with them, true?
The thing about the AI becomes most obvious when you watch two (or more) CP Us fight each other without human intervention.
MMORPGs are serious business.Perfect Pivoting/Neo-Wavedashing is a godsend. It looks and feels natural, it's very versatile, and I keep catching people off-guard.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerBTW, you can do perfect pivoting for the 3DS version too. It just ruins your circle pad.
Smash Trivia!
The description for the "Souflee" trophy from Kid Icarus reads, "We could tell you it's a cake, but that would be a lie". This is a reference to running gag through the first Portal game, stating that "the cake is a lie".
After obtaining every Mii outfit, the game will give you a notification reading, "Collected every type of custom outfit! Your body is ready!" A reference to Nintendo of America CEO Reggie Fils-Aime's popular quote from E3 2007, "My body is ready!", which has since become a popular meme.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?![]()

And here I thought that "the cake is a lie" died out after Castlevania: Lords of Shadow made a reference to it. Is it a zombie now?

"Cynic, n. — A blackguard whose faulty vision sees things as they are, not as they ought to be." - The Devil's DictionaryIIRC, Portal 2's developers themselves were sick of the phrase.
Though it's not like modern games recycling decade-old memes for the 9001st time is anything particularly new.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyWhat exactly is perfect pivoting though? I'm wondering if this is just the fans desperately looking for something to replace wavedashing or if it's legitimate tech.
Guys, I figured you could do it in Training Mode, but the level 1s really weren't the issue.
In fact, barring the few times I just seemed to be unable to press the button quickly enough, the only level 1 character who was ever fast and aggressive enough to interrupt me during it was... Greninja. Of course!
@Customer: Well, I'll gladly take that bit of advice! Now I'm curious, though. Exactly what kind of bad habits would you learn?
I did notice a strange thing - I used to play Training Mode and chase after level 9s set to "Run" a lot, but on the Wii U (and I think it started happening on the 3DS, too?!), at some point they got into the habit of just jumping up and down by the ledge when I push them into the corner. They used to just dodge backwards into it a lot, which at least gave them some invulnerability, but just jumping around like that makes them trivial... so it wasn't fun to do anymore because in the middle of the stage they're almost impossible to hit, so you end up just waiting for the point where they jump around like useless idiots.

Learning ways to cheese Level 9's, none of them work on decently skilled players so you just end up as an easy and very predictable target.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Ugh, I suck at taking down Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Any characters with really good aerials?
Is this a Jo Jo reference?

"Hey, if you're having trouble with AI opponents that can only be beaten because of a random algorithm limiting their power, you should spend money for the privilege of being able to fight one particular character with an AI that could beat most competitive players!"
