The Fool
I'm pretty sure I once Shulk'd my brother's Greninja like that once. I mean, there's a bit of delay between the dissapearing and the countering, so it should not be impossible to pull off after a quick attack.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil.""This is the Monado's power" indeed. It does become very strict after just a few misfires though. Gotta keep that Party Gauge full, mate.
That reminds me, that fluzzy doll is the HDest thing ever.

I've heard there's enough of a delay that people can shield with good timing, I just wasn't sure how fast you could use a counter compared to the shield. And it makes sense there's a delay, otherwise it's pretty hard to the Greninja player to have time to pick a direction!
Don't forget the ninja logs! But that sounds like something that needs to be filmed now. Probably need two human player to do it, I'd offer a 3DS Greninja for the project, but I have no idea how someone would record such an event =D
Not sure what you mean by that, going to assume it's a good thing :p

Yup. It's the most forgiving counter in the game at first, which makes sense for the guy that can see the future, but the margin of error becomes progressively stricter when you abuse the attack.
It means that it feels like you can almost pet the little critter through the screen.

I think he means that it's ridiculously detailed for what it is.
Hey guys, remember the reaction to Mega Man's Final Smash during the Smash Invitational?
Well, here it is from the crowd's perspective.
It's the first time I've seen this video. Most of the other ones are from the Invitational's stream itself.

Not yet, but there will be. It's still in open beta right now.

And I'm fairly sure that if a second Substitute is used, the previous doll/log is going to disappear. No rain of plushies, unfortunately.
You can activate Shulk's counter faster than it normally goes...I don't think it does as much damage though.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It's not quite like that. Pressing the direction the attack's coming from before the counter activates makes Shulk dash forward, cutting through opponents and sending them flying backwards. It's incredibly satisfying to pull off on an edgeguarding enemy.

Awww, that means we can't recreate this

Good to know about Shulk's counter though, I'll remember that if I try to learn him. He was fun to clear Classic with, even if I didn't know how to use any of his monado arts. Vanilla Shulk still got 9.0 though.
You mean online? With the Wii-U? I know you can do Smash Run, All-Star and Multi-man brawl with other 3DSs on local wireless if you have RL friends with the game. But I don't have those, getting my "X-Hours of Smash" challenges might be annoying because of that.

My top 5? Zero Suit Samus is on top, but I feel pretty good about Peach, Greninja, and Kirby, in no real order.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectSo I just got all the rewards in Event Mode, even the Kirby one.
It wasn't that hard. All it took was commitment, some good customs, and a few weeks. ;p
Now to move on to everybody's All Star on Hard, a few Smash Tour challenges, beating my rival in Rival KO 4 times, those stupid Cruel Smash challenges, the harder Target Smash challenges, and unlocking everything else.
FUN, RIGHT?

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayOh lord, I'm not sure I can even beat All-Star with everyone. I'm just picking my way through Classic, still. I've only beaten the Master Core forms a few times, and not even the hardest one.
This is where 'too much content' actually does become an issue, IMO.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThis is a Smash that you really have to be GOOD at to get everything you want.
The way you can unlock all the fighters in a few hours is almost insulting when the rest of the game is made up of increasingly painful challenges.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayHow is there ever such a thing as too much content? Would you rather only have three things to do and then be done with the game forever?
