So earlier I was quite bored. So I went to 8 player and watched some Lv. 9 CPU matches For Glory.
Pikachu won one match, then 2 matches later he won again against characters such as Donkey Kong, Little Mac. Winning with a whopping 12 K Os!!!!! O.O
I shall never underestimate that little yellow rodent again.
DAMMIT! I couldn't find any cute profile Pokemon Christmas pictures!

Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756edited 9th Dec '14 12:30:10 AM by Pulse
I sure said that!Neither am I. However, That does not mean that Ganondorf isn't an accomplished brawler as well. But the moveset as-is does a very good job representing his ridiculous power and brutality, which are the only consistent things about him (and like how Zelda gets the magic specials Link used + the Phantom to showcase her magic prowess). Also, I could say the same thing about change that you'd claim about tradition.
Besides that, Ike being introduced laid any Sword!dorf movesets on ice.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!No, the opposite: Sword wielders in the franchise use different tactics from each other, Link being a versatile weaponmaster who prefers his sword, Marth being a swordman who keeps the opponent at the tip of his sword thanks to finesse-based play, Ike fullfilling the strong swordman type, and Pit (if you count him) has dual blades. If Ganondorf got a sword moveset now, he'd be pretty similiar to Ike except with darkness instead of fire. And with the addition of Robin, deviating from this by giving him magic attacks would make him more similiar to him instead. Or even to Link himself in regards of using not just swordplay.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Dammit Folt, you basically pre-empted me on what I was about to say this whole time!
I kinda half-agree with your point in that I want to see him lose the moves that are very clearly borrowed from Falcon and make no sense on him. Up-tilt, up-air, up-b and down-b, all of those are far too acrobatic or just weird. And I wouldn't mind if he had some of his magic, something like Ness' PK Flash maybe, rarely practical to use in battle but demonstrates how powerful he can be when he lets loose... But in principle I'm super-okay with him just being this big guy who oozes power. Like Broly from DBZ basically! Or the Terminator!

Nah, let him have his u-tilt. It's so radically changed it's practically a different move altogether.
In my headcanon, most of those are Ganondorf achieving results similiar to Falcon through the use of dark magic. I'd have no problem changing uair however (and Dark Dive, if less so because the customs he has from that one rules).
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I just know I'd be mad if they got rid of the Warlock Punch like P:M did. Especially since Falcon Punch is now utterly worthless (It can't even KO a highly-damaged Master Core)!

That sounds pretty good.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser Charizard...The convo about Ganon made me realize something in regards to Smash and the Zelda series:
- Link/Toon Link = Courage = Playstyle involves using weaponry Link gained from braving various dungeons throughout the series.
- Zelda = Wisdom = Uses magic based on light and the three Goddesses of Hyrule. Is the most technical of the Zelda characters, which includes her alter ego, Sheik (despite trading her magic for acrobatics, she's still technical in execution).
- Ganondorf = Power = Despite having a moveset based on someone entirely unrelated to the series, his playstyle is still based heavily on pure power. When given the chance, he's capable of finishing off foes much more easily than Link or Zelda.

My idea for implementing Dead Man's Volley is as follows:
I haven't bothered to look at how Project M did this, I've had the idea since long before they implemented it, and honestly don't care what they did anyway.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
