"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheer@Home Run Contest video: So, because I'm a super nerd, I decided to calculate how fast the Sand Bag was moving while in the air. Assuming that one day is 24 hours, he was going...
0.04258 mph (or 0.06859 km/h).
That's a really slow Sand Bag.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
200 blocks or more in one round of Trophy Rush using G-dubs.
FZX Omega is bigger than FZ 2 Omega, which makes it considerably less useful for training. I was able to recreate the P:M training room pretty faithfully, though, both in layout and function, luckily.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerOn the Ganon/Falcon conversation earlier, I don't think it's necessarily a legitimate reason to keep them clones with speed differences because of familiarity, considering how they have different custom moves, and people aren't complaining about that (other than the people who hate ALL custom moves.) That said, I'm speaking from ignorance here, I just skimmed their moves' text descriptions like 10 seconds ago.
And even though I didn't play Melee/Brawl I still know that like everybody wants Ganondorf to use his sword.

MMORPGs are serious business.I'm partial to the idea of having Ganondorf keep his brawler moveset but reanimating everything to be more... Ganondorf-y. (Hovers for his dash, his neutral A is a backhand, his walk is now an upright unflinching walk instead of a sideways hobble, and so forth)
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI'd also like to bring up that Warlock Punch did come directly from Ocarina of Time. He used a form of it in the cutscene just before his fight. That's why he strikes with the back of his hand during it.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI made Miis based off of other charcters. I've doen three of Tsuyu Asui (kero kero), Hubert Oswell, Trevor Phillips and Scott Oellkers, President of Dominos Pizza Japan and even the Game Show Host from Smash TV
Are explosions science?90% of my Miis are fictional characters. 9% are OC's. The only real people I have are Reggie, Sakurai, and Iwata.
Also, for those too lazy to click the legal stage list linked to earlier:
- Starter:
- Battlefield
- Final Destination
- Lylat Cruise
- Town and City
- Smashville
- Counterpick:
- Delfino Plaza – Walkoff sections.
- Kongo Jungle 64 – Circle camping still possible, but not as easy due to reduced size.
- Halberd – The laser.
- Pokémon Stadium 2 – The physics-altering hazards.
- Castle Siege – The second area with its walkoff and destructible statues.
- Duck hunt – Destructible ducks.
- Skyloft – I don't know this one.
- Counterpick/Banned at the TO's discretion
- Mario Circuit (Wii U) – Lethal Shy Guys.
- Luigi's Mansion – Pillars stop projectiles.
- Wuhu Island – Only due to a glitch with Ness. Would be Starter or normal Counterpick otherwise.
- Windy Hill Zone – Big slopes, springs.
- Needs Testing:
- Big Battlefield – Size, camping potential.
- Luigi's Mansion
- Pilot Wings – I don't know this one.
- Needs Testing/Likely Banned:
- Mushroom Kingdom U (?) – Nabbit.
- Jungle Hijinx – Either part of the stage can fall and KO you. The dual plane system is fine.
- Wooly World – Large number of Walkoff sections.
- Orbital Gate Assault – Disruptive hazards, transforming.
- Kalos Pokémon League – Rayquaza and Wailord.
- Skyworld – Destructible platforms.
- Garden of Hope – Lethal enemies.
- Norfair – Lava.
- Banned:
- Mario Galaxy – Walkoff.
- Mario Circuit (Brawl) – Walkoff.
- Bridge of Eldin – Walkoff.
- Temple – Duh.
- Pyrosphere – Ridley.
- Port Town Aero Dive – The hazard is too disruptive.
- Yoshi's Island Melee – Walkoff and cramped.
- The Great Cave Offensive – Size, the entire stage is a cave of life, walkoff, and the OHKO danger zones.
- Onett – Walkoff, lethal cars.
- Coliseum – Walkoff.
- Flat Zone X – Walkoff.
- Palutena's Temple – Size, multiple caves of life.
- Gamer – 5-volt's lethal Eye Beams, and caves of life under books. (I personally disagree with this one.)
- Wii Fit Studio – Walkoff.
- Gaur Plains – Walkoff, Metal Face, bizarre layout.
- 75 m – Size.
- Wrecking Crew – Bombs and walls are highly disruptive.
- Wily Castle – Yellow Devil.
- PAC-LAND – Do you even have to ask?
I don't know the situation with non-FD Omega stages right now.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerMy Brawler Mii is based on Nico Robin from One Piece (cowboy hat and vampire suit are great), while the Swordfighter is based off of me (making him resemble a samurai, and he's even named Yagyu), and the Gunner uses a default Mii (with a Tron-like get-up).

I usually don't participate in tournaments (except when I'm playing tourney mode against the CPU and my friends locally), so usually what stages are allowed in them doesn't effect me in any way.
Now tiers can effect me as I can use them in my local matches to win.
Normally I just play any multiplayer game to have fun, except when I'm going up against an elitist or a "Stop Having Fun" Guy. Like someone who will literally ban shooting in the back when playing any FPS game (this is why I usually play Team Deathmatch in Co D when I'm playing with humans...and have all of them on my team, or play Halo infection using only Melee weapons...but that's for another topic)
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!![]()
From what I understand, for the most part, it's because said stages can be abused for easy wins (sometimes character-dependent) and/or have too many random factors that makes playing to win (as in during tournaments that have prizes on the line) be based less on player skill and also makes the experience much more stressful than it needs to be.

@Customer Oh, thank you.
Warning, rant: Ech, I hate the tournament mindset. It's always "make everything equal and fair and boring so everybody has an equal chance of winning" when the people who are likely to win have just turned off all other variables so the only way they CAN win is without any other distractions. Smash doesn't WORK that way...
I think I had more fun playing 8-player Smash at that party than the tournament we made up, even if I DID almost win it...;p
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayOn the contrary, it works in several ways. Part of the appeal.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyBut it never USED to work that way! ^I mean like since 64. ;p
...when they say counterpick, does it imply that some characters work best on their own stages, or only some.
I've never been able to determine who works best on their own stages.

My Miis are myself (Gunner), my genderbent self (Brawler), and Dave Strider (Swordfighter). {I'm amused at my unintentional inversion of Guys Smash, Girls Shoot btw.}
In other news, I have picked up Charizard which brings my total main count to three! (The other two are Dr. Mario and Shulk.)
