I have already vowed to break off of fighting to destroy Metal Face every time he appears.
Imo Metal Face is the best one, because I feel like he was the only one whose stage was really designed for it (that is, it makes a better boss arena than it does a multiplayer fighting arena). Dr. Wily's castle is too small for the Yellow Devil, imo, and Ridley is too big- <is shot>
Plus the fight itself is really cool.
Alas, he seems to be the rarest of the three, though. Figures.

If there's ever any significant amount of Lag in a battle, the obvious result is that Player Random-NES 4 will automatically lose the battle.
50% of total losses are from Lag, just going by my common results.
Its super annoying too because for some consistently stupid reason...lag always happens right when I'm going to win or as soon as I take the lead and will happen through the rest of the match...sometimes it stops just before I'm about to lose anyway.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Getting on to a different, if related, subject—Since I already know who my most requested newcomer is for DLC and/or later instalments, I've been trying to think of a Splatoon stage that's gimmicky but fair, and I think I have something. Aside from the obvious setting, the "hazards" come in the form of NPC Inklings that, while they don't hurt you, can cover the terrain in colored ink. Specifically, the color of your "team" (it includes free-for-all matches and corresponds to your player number's color). Moving around in your own color gives you a decent speed and traction bonus, while being in another color slows you down. The areas that are covered change relatively frequently, so you have to be ready for any given surface changing to a different color, but both players get about the same amount of area to work with to keep it fair.
I'd love a Nintendoland stage for DLC.
Nintendo should really have done the DLC similar to how they did MK 8 - with a single "pack" including a character and a stage at least - though we already know it's not happening that way with Mewtwo.
From what we've seen, Mewtwo's got an individual price tag and individual terms for unlocking, so he seems to be alone to me.
Speaking of which, I think the best indicator that we should get more DLC characters (or that Nintendo should really consider it) is that having it be just Mewtwo would make the "incentive" to get him free rather silly (since it's actually more expensive to get him for "free" than not). Though I guess they would need quite a few characters for it to be a better deal from that perspective anyway.

I think we'll get packs after Mewtwo if Sakurai thinks he went well enough.
As for the new Stage Hazards, I don't mind really facing them at all. Dark Emperor is the only one I found slightly annoying, as Yellow Devil had little effect on me. Actual non-character hazards have given me way more issues. The Paper Mario stage is one of the few I can't stand because of the Bowser's Castle section. His face basically can turn, making it an unusable platform, and the platforms are too small to decently get to. I don't honestly mind the other stages at all. It's too bad, since the first and second form are pretty funny to me. It's just that last one...
Shadow? What's their incentive, though? The main reason behind the Mewtwo deal was to further coax people who already had the game into buying/pre-ordering the other version prior to its release, which is going to be much less relevant when they've got a good chunk of their copies out by now.
Not to mention that even that offer has a deadline set on it,
which if anything would discourage the idea of any similar future events.
All this talk about Stage Hazards just makes me think of what I'm missing. To those that have both versions, how do you think the stages in each version compare?
Also, I'm finding that the longer it takes for me to get a Wii U, the less inclined I feel about buying Smash. As in, I don't know if I'll ever buy Smash U by the time I get the console, especially since there are other games I want for it and I've been satisfied with the 3DS version of Smash anyway. The main reason I'd buy Smash U without the console at this point is for the soundtrack.
I'd say the Wii U version has the edge, really.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWii U has Event Mode and Special Orders and Smash Tour and amiibos and so much music IT'S NOT EVEN COMPARABLE and Stage Builder and stages that aren't as cramped and limited as the ones on 3DS.
All that said, yeah, you could play the 3DS version and have played Smash 4...

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay

I am not ashamed to admit that I'm looking forward to the bosses. Especially Metal Face.
