Oh I see. Disappointing.
And the songs have been cut to two minutes because that's apparently the default time limit for Timed Matches. I heard about the DK Rap being cut in half because they wanted to fit the limit, but on the Wii U, I feel they shouldn't have restricted it.
I've also heard that there aren't many long stage songs in general in the Wii U version. The 3DS had a few pieces (mostly from Kid Icarus Uprising) that were longer than two minutes, but it seems like they were only in to give Smash Run some music that fit its 5 minute time limit.
Actually, that default time reason makes a lot of sense.
Disappointing, though, agreed.
Well, the songs are still good, none the less. I would've liked a bit more deviation from remixes from the DK series, though. Anyway, once I open up my copy on Christmas(with hopefully the Gamecube Controller adapter, namely because I hate batteries and want options for controls besides Wiimotes and the Tablet), it'll take me a long time to get everything. They upped the difficulty on some things.
Shadow?You're right.
The original Japanese was referring back to the topic which was the song "Mute City."

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm just partially surprised that they kept themselves from shoving a "Sonic Retro Medley" in there.
As for the update, I fail to see what would have been so hard to just identify them from the game they came from. Even Brawl got that right.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI've seen some tracks be longer, at least on You Tube.
Also yeah, I am sorely disappointed that the Sonic music selection is so lousy. Come on, no Planet Wisp stuff? And there doesn't seem to be many Sega composers. Come on, who wouldn't want Tomoya Ohtani remixing some Nintendo tracks?

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectOne thing I really liked about Project M from what very little I got to see was that it included more songs for Sonic. There wasn't a lot of new stuff but it included Right There, Ride On which was awesome (although Jeh Jeh Rocket might work a tad bit better as a battle theme and Metal Scratchin' [the boss theme] or Bomber Barbara [the non-Super final boss theme] would have been the best).
Seriously, just imagine smashing it out with this going in the background:
Project M didn't add any new Sonic music...That was already there.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Right There, Ride On was in vanilla Brawl.
I dunno, the Sonic music in Brawl is a monument to missed opportunities. How fitting for Sonic.

The music choices were still good, at least. Just not that good for fighting alone.
Here's a full list of music
. Surprisingly, Metal Battle is on Final Destination.
Seven Rings in Hand? Uggggh
I mean, Planet Wisp is basically this perfect blend between mellow and energetic. It would have been so perfect.

x6 Huh. So it is. I guess I just never unlocked it or something?
And after looking at that music list, I'm really disappointed that Sonic has no new remixes, while both Mega Man and Pac-Man get few of them that aren't retro medleys. Hell, why didn't Sonic get a retro medley anyway? Hmph. :\ I mean, the song selection from his games are good (unlike most, I actually like Sonic's vocal themes), but they could've been better.
I'm getting the feeling that remixes only happen if a particular composer chooses to remix a track they like from a particular game franchise, rather than Nintendo commissioning these composers and telling them which songs they could work with (which is what I thought happened).
Can you play as a custom hidden character that you send from your 3DS but haven't unlocked on Wii U?
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardMy friend demands a reason why Phoenix Wright isn't playable.
Someone please explain why.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?Because Capcom felt that Mega Man (a highly requested character, I might add) would represent their company in Smash better than Wright (and to be honest, Ryu would probably be next in line to rep Capcom if they didn't want to use Mega Man in Smash).
That's my guess anyway.

I think the only remix is a song from Sonic Generations. Technically, it's new to Smash, but not made specifically for Smash.
They also cut Sonic Boom(could be some weird issue due to the new game/show that came out, though). I'm just disappointed in the selection because it lacks pretty much any music from the spin-offs(who all had some pretty damn good music, especially ones that were perfect for battling) and the multiplayer music from games that also were perfect for battling. Adventure 2 had really good music for that.
Just throwing in main themes does not work all that well.
Related, a lot of songs got cut to around I think, 3 minutes instead of their full? They cut out part of the DK rap, removing Lanky and Chunky's sections entirely. Weird music direction, I guess. -shrugs-
