Not that specific method though, if you were revealing how to unlock certain characters...then that's another case entirely.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Looks like I'll have to copy all of my custom fighters to Wii U one by one...that'll take a while. ;p Even longer as I try to unlock them on Wii U.
But I was expecting there to be work! At least this'll save me a lot of time from having to make em up all over again.
I just wonder if I can still use their custom specials...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayFor all Luigi mains: F-Smash wasn't the only thing that got buffed. D-Smash got new angles which are more advantageous to Luigi, the karate chop got a bigger hitbox (so basically more priority) and an unknown move got increases to the hitbox size, and since the move does 25% or 20% depending on stuff, it points towards the sweetspots of Super Jump Punch being easier to hit with.

Woo, got it for Wii U!
So the Gamecube controller adaptor is going to be sold separately too, right? I figure my wife and I are going to be the only ones regularly playing local multiplayer and I don't mind using the Gamepad and old Classic Controller, but if I can get the adaptor by itself for less than $40 it would still be a good investment even if it doesn't come with the extra Smash-branded controller. Otherwise, I might just invest in a Pro Controller.

Getting it after work today, but my school's hosting a trivia contest night, so it might be some time before i get home to crack it open.
Good god, is this what growing up is about? Postponing videogames for activities with other people!?

I might actually look into getting that adapter. Because right now the Wii U gamepad is HORRID at controlling the game - for some baffling reason I keep accidentally executing the wrong moves, and the side or normal B button moves activation is seemingly up to random luck. It's like I'm being forced to learn Smash Bros from scratch.
Gonna try out of the Wii U Pro controller in a moment, see if that makes things better...
Aaaaaand... not much of a difference. Slightly better, but I'm still constantly executing the wrong moves. Though I am noticing that the character hitboxes are a LOT more smaller and strict now. From what I remembered of Melee, you didn't really need to be terribly accurate to connect with the enemy, but now the timing of your strikes is far more important; a poorly timed strong-A attack will leave you very briefly open and vulnerable to the enemy snaking in and getting a quick hit.
I broke down and got the Gamecube adaptor by itself. They seem kind of hard to find actually. Also, I noticed they're going for over $50 on Amazon, which is just ridiculous.
Also, maybe I'm a little spoiled having had the 3DS version for a month or so, but it was kind of weird going into this one and not having the whole character roster right there.

Let me know how it goes. If it's worthwhile I'll definitely consider making the purchase myself.
Though I am hearing from some people online that there's a slight bit of response time lag from the Gamecube controller, especially at the beginning of a match. Hopefully it's not true.

Got it, but alas my Gamestop didn't have Gamecube adapters. I'll have to make do for now, and the game is amazing.
Though is it just me, or has Kirby's range taken a bit of a hit between games?
Anyway, to my great gladness I cleared Classic Mode and beat Abyss the Hands on the first try, but to my eternal shame my winning streak was besmirched when I got my ass kicked by the first unlocked character. At least it was just Not-Marth Lucina, who is no real issue for me not to have at this point anyway.

Everyone might not know that though!
I don't know, I thought someone would call it out because I was spoiling how to unlock every character.
EDIT: I created a page topper bringing up the banning issue with this thread again. This is rather embarrassing. >.<
