Any tips for fighting Diddy? His frame one, long-range running grabs are a little ridiculous. And since they're grabs, and Monkey Flip is one, too, he can't be guarded against. And nobody on Smashboards will help even when I asked. It's, to say the least, frustrating.

Ooh, dat HD Dream Land...
Also, sorry to change the subject, but Smash Bros for Wii U is now available for preload in the Americas!
Project M can be played on a modded Wii, right? If that wasn't the only way for me to play my Game Cube games and I'm afraid of screwing it up and wrecking my Wii, I'd probably get it mostly for the characters, costumes, and stages.

There's hackless now.
Diddy Kong is Very annoying...the best thing you can do is have someone whose good enough with projectiles to keep distance and also good at rushing him.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.More specifically, a security workaround was discovered wherein you just need to stick Project M (or whatever Brawl hack floats your boat) onto an SD card and then head to the vault to open up Stage Builder or another bit that checks the SD card for data. From there, things should work just fine.
Diddy needs to be approached carefully. Keep the fight at arm's length if you've got projectiles or even a ranged weapon, since Diddy's range is pretty poor. If that's not an option, you need to master rushdowns and hit-and-run tactics. I wish there was more I could say than "practice MOAR" but this really is one of those situations where practice is significantly more useful than advice.

I sure said that!Oh, that's good. I'll have to play that, then. I guess I might as well wait the two days for the update, though.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! But he's too fast and his arms are huge. Even as Palutena, I can't touch him.
Seriously, his range. He's more Lanky than Diddy now.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Something you didn't say about Project M installation is that you have to delete custom stages.
Is this a Jo Jo reference?I'd have to unlock everyone again as well since all of my Smash Bros save data is on my Wii U. I suppose I could just play it on my Wii U but I don't have a TV in my room and I'd like to play it on one. My Wii, meanwhile, is in my sister's room which DOES have a TV so yeah. I'll have to use my regular SD card for it, though.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Wish I hadn't sold my old Wii now since Project M is FINALLY coming to PAL territories.
I love the Big Boss costume they included for Snake as well.
Are explosions science? After several days of fruitless attempts, Target Blast has yielded three hats in the span of about half an hour. I can now check the Dragon Helmet, Mii Force Helmet, and Peach's Crown off my list. I knew I was missing 5, but I had no idea the crown was one of them. Now I only need Mario's Cap and the Mini Top Hat.
It doesn't exist in the 3DS version whatsoever. Wii U version has Ridley(Other M design) and Meta-Ridley(not sure which game's design he has) as a Stage Hazard/Assist Character combination(similar to Flying Men, except he has a head icon when he's KO'd like a regular playable character) on the Pyrosphere. He can transform into Meta-Ridley when he takes enough damage. Besides that, we can expect a Trophy of both of them.
DLC pretty clearly ignores Trophies. Hazard characters, however... we'll have to see, but I don't expect Ridley to be playable, even a different version of him(say, Super Metroid).
Shadow?Meta Ridley is just Glowing Ridley, as far as this game is concerned. Nothing of note.
