Soooo, am I the only one who thinks Greninja's side taunt (the one where he shakes his head and tongue while saying "nin-ja!") is really adorable?

I usually don't give my FG ratio that much thought. Last I checked, it was in the low- to mid-40s, but I'm not really the competitive type. I play to have fun, with or without items and/or stage hazards.

That said, it does annoy me slightly when I play FG doubles and so frequently seem to be stuck with a dead-weight player, but that's just the nature of the beast, I guess.

Greninja in general is adorable.

Exactly. His whole concept is kinda hard to take seriously considering his scarf is his tongue and he sounds like Stitch. (Or Rikuo in Japanese)

Greninja is a shining example of what Pokemon does well- Kinda-cool monsters that never the less have lots of cute and/or silly elements.

Fun fact: in pokemon-amie of X and Y, Greninja's ideal petting spot is his tongue. I can only imagine what goes on in his mind when he tastes your character.tongue

It helps that Greninja is made pretty adorkable in this game due to trying his best to look cool, but then there's things like his voice, side taunt and screen KO that make him look really silly.

Plus he looks very huggable.

Huggable is right. I want a Greninja plush, but it costs more than the game!

The only thing stopping me from buying a Greninja plush is the fact that Pokemon Center isn't available in Brazil.

[up] I can import from Amazon, I guess. I'm not sure if it would be really worth it though, that and I'm pretty sure my parents wouldn't be willing to spend money importing a plush.

Actually nevermind, after looking up at Amazon I found out that they don't ship to Brazil

For the record:

Ness, Jigglypuff, Ganondorf, and Bowser Jr. are all off the spoiler list in regards to secret characters. Post about them to your heart's content.

I'd say Wario is off of the spoiler list too, since he appeared in the 50 facts video.

I have to ask, how do you guys have trouble with Master Core's timer? I always end up having at least two minutes left.

Really?! Even with characters that you're not particularly good with? I remember having an absolutely miserable time trying to beat classic with Palutena at just 7.0 difficulty. She's the antithesis of Little Mac: tall, slow, heavy, awkward to combo with, and not male.

Well, I only play classic with characters I've had at least some practice with. I'm gonna try clearing it with either Robin or Pacman now since they're characters I'm trying to learn and see the results.

The timer has never been a factor in my fights with Master Core. Either I destroy it or it destroys me, but either way there's usually most of the last minute left by the end.

[up][up]Palutena suffers from her default moveset being too defensively slanted. Reflect Barrier and Counter require the opponent attack her first to be of any use and Warp is pure recovery with no added tricks to use it well. Auto-Reticle is a very handy long-range poke, though.

RE:Greninja: I kind of wish one of its victory poses make it looked more relaxed and give it its "closed eyes" look like it has in its Pokemon-Amie. I guess sort of like how Pikachu and Jigglypuff have "relaxed" victories with them sleeping (or in Jiggly's case, trying to stay awake). But I guess since it's a "cool" Pokemon like Charizard and Lucario, it has to have badass victory poses.

@Full Moon:RE:Master Core: You're beating it easily because Classic 9.0 doesn't provide that hard of a challenge for you (especially if you run it with characters you know), which is why you don't have problems with it. Other people, depending on who they play, have trouble beating Master Core 9.0 under its time limit.

That said, I'd probably have more issues surviving it than running out of time.

I haven't bothered with Classic 9.0 yet. I'm still unlocking Custom Moves, and will probably move on to the "Complete X with all fighters" Challenges next.
