I finished Smash Run with every character before I actually used any powers, so when I got back to using Smash Run for custom parts I started putting powers on everybody.
I put a Health Restore lvl. 4 on everybody because my biggest problem is getting hit too much. I COULD devote my practice to not getting hit, but it's hard to get in good hits then.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayDo the different colored paths in classic mode have different dificulties? I know it's a stupid question, just answer it.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardNo Sonic tips yet. In other news, Donkey Kong's down-b wrecks Master Beast.
I'd just use Sonic's most damaging attacks since none of the forms, other than the last one, have the mobility to avoid it. The last form you should just see as a regular fight. Just don't rush in blind.

I highly doubt that Smash information will be part of it. We did just get a whole stream dedicated to it after all.
Maybe that teased trailer from a while back will be shown in this direct? Also, I hope we'll get to see some more of Mario Kart 8's DLC tracks (Also, Link).

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."@Numbuh: You don't need to tag Master Core with spoilers. It was revealed through the last Direct (and the Treehouse stream before that).
RE:"Easy way of getting Custom Moves": [Warning: rant incoming] I can see why people would want an easier method. They really dropped the ball by making the "loot" aspect of the game really annoying instead of fun, even to seasoned looters.
The way getting anything in Smash 3DS is extremely limited, especially compared to how Brawl allowed you to get things (mostly Stickers and CDs) by just playing the game and not forcing you to pick certain modes. To find Custom Moves, you need to play the main single player modes and/or some of the bonus modes for them. Not only is it bad that Custom Moves are in the same bag as Equipment and Mii gear, but they allowed you to collect duplicates of Custom Moves, meaning that any single "run" to get new moves could end up being a waste of time. And the whole thing is still incredibly lucked based (as loot systems usually are), that means that there's no real estimate of how much time it takes for a player to get everything.
And that's probably my main beef with Custom Moves. The duplicates for the Custom Moves make no sense, since unlike Trophies (which don't add anything to the gameplay) or equipment (which have their own stats, so dupes are fine), those are finite. Barring two characters, every character has the same amount of specials, and I'd rather they be unlocked by doing things like "Clear Classic on X Intensity" or "Reach X feet in Climb!" or something akin to the Custom Moves that you get from doing Challenges. The only reason I can think of having Custom Move dupes is to pad out the game and reinforce the fact that official Nintendo tournaments will more than likely not allow Custom Moves at all.
I don't mind playing Classic, Smash Run, or whatever to get Custom Moves, since that just means I get more time using all the characters in the roster, but I assuming a lot of people would rather just play those modes when they feel like playing them and would rather play in Smash mode or online. But since nearly nothing seems to be gained by playing those modes, they feel forced into the other modes.
I just feel like the whole system should be reworked. Maybe to something like this:
- First, assuming we're keeping duplicate Customs, separate Custom Specials and Equipment/Mii Parts so that they don't all come from the same bag. This should make the randomness of getting duplicate Custom Specials more bearable.
- In the same vein, if we're allowing dupes, then limit them to characters in the same series (meaning it's possibly for Mario to find specials for Luigi and Peach and vice versa, but not Link or Samus). Characters that are the only representative of their series (such as Shulk, Yoshi, and the 3rd Parties) share their drops with each other.
- Alternatively, remove Custom Specials from the bags. You can get Custom Specials by completing certain modes with their respective characters. Beating Classic at X intensity will unlock Standard B specials, beating All-Star will give you Up specials, and playing Smash Run will give you Down specials. Or something like that.
- If someone happens to get all the trophies, the Trophy Shop should change to the Custom Shop, allowing players to spend coins on bags for stuff. As far as I know, other than Trophy Rush and Spectate, there aren't any other forms of coin spending in Smash 3DS.
Phew, sorry about that. I just woke up and felt the need to bring this up after playing Smash Run so often for so long, and playing another game that has a loot system alongside Smash probably had an effect on me as well.

I kind of wish there was a way to access alternative smash modes besides in smash run, I want my 300% super Sudden Deathmatches online damn it! And I wish it was less random too, let me tell you the number of times I cursed my 3DS because it gave me a climb while I was speed focused, or 300% smash when I had maxed defense.

Really, the only thing that would need to be done is removing duplicates from random drops and adding a custom part shop. Even if said shop also had a chance of bringing up Mii accessories and equipment, it'd still give a more consistent method for obtaining moves, allowing the incorporation of loot-based padding to an extent while still making the use of custom moves more convenient. That this would create another function for excess coins would be a bonus.

...Just beat Master Core with Sonic. His down-b is much more effective on Master Beast than I thought it would be. Oh, and I had 53 seconds left so the timer is the real enemy here.
I guess that's possible. Duck Hunt and Dark Pit are the only ones that would get newcomer trailers, right?
Or closer to that version's release.
I'm honestly looking forward to what they're showcasing rather than whether or not anything Smash-related surfaces.

In Smash Run, you can find yellow sacks with ? plates on them. These contain powers, special effects that can be used a few times per Smash Tun play. You need to equip them through the Customization screen on the bottom of the main Smash Run menu or within the single-player character select screen for Smash Run. The game explains more once you do that.
You start off with a couple and might have found some more through Challenges already, so make sure you equip some before your next Smash Run.

I sure said that!
