I can confirm that losses count more towards your For Glory record than wins.
For those who don't get it, he's talking about Mario the Juggler (1991), the Updated Re-release of Ball and the Bookends to the Game & Watch line.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerWell that's kind of a given for percentage-based records.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guy@Baffle, Furball: I myself base my refined technique on the G&W classic, Fire.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Mac? no problem. Zamus? What a joke.
But How the fuck do I deal with Link?!
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerBaffle, Just remember, Link does more damage on his SECOND swing on his smash, not his first one. Consider positioning yourself much closer to him than normal.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.![]()
I try that, then I get nailed by perfectly timed arrows, boomerangs, and bombs at the same time.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerAs an avid Link player, take advantage of Link's delays in between his stronger attacks. He's pretty slow when it comes to getting back into a fighting position.
Second, watch for the gale boomerang. It is both a blessing and a curse. It is a curse if you don't pay attention and find yourself being carried by the wind towards something you don't want to be in. It's a blessing if you know when to exploit it. That same wind can move you into a safer location.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. As an avid Link player as well, if you can play his gale boomerang against him, it can line up some pretty easy attacks. I've killed myself with it more than once by getting a bit trigger happy with it. It also has enormous windup lag, so try to close the distance while he winds it up before it can be thrown to set up an attack.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerHeh, not a problem. I had much the same stage when being faced with villager, Greninja, and Duck Hunt Dog. Still not quite sure how to deal with the first one. Haven't run into villager too much yet.
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/lb_i.php?lb_id=13239183440B34964700 Alfric's Fire Emblem Liveblog Encyclopedia! So I had a quick look at some Xenoblade footage and wow after seeing Shulk here be an adorable socially foolish happy goofball, hearing him shout "I'll Kill You!!" is kinda surprising
Are explosions science?![]()

Stay away from the tree when Villager's close to it, mostly. And when he's far away from it, stay close to it. And try to destroy it before he's back within axe range.
I'm actually really embarrassed that I have so much trouble against him since he's one of the "newbie four" with Mac, Zamus, and Bowser.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerOf the newbie four he's probably the most irritating, in my experience. If it weren't Final Destination all day every day maybe he'd be easier to deal with, hehe. Best I can offer is carefully hop and air-dodge past his stream of arrows, see to it to trip him up and close in as much as you can while he's prepping the next one.
At least, that's my theory. I'm terrible at execution.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyToon Link Awesome as always...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Played some For Glory last night. My record is still not great, but I am getting better.
I think basing my playstyle on the title of the final Game And Watch game is a good idea.
