So you'll never know if you got something useful or not? That's kinda lame.

Yeah, it won't tell you what you got. This is bad for the obvious reason, but it's also good in that you can't lose it in Classic for dying. Whatever it drops is immediately yours, no risk attached.

That's good I guess. But since it doesn't tell you what it is I assume it can't be a Custom Move. Otherwise it'd show us, right?

It won't show you. I remember getting a custom move for Ganondorf from Mew while using Mii Fighters in Multiplayer.

Speaking of Custom Moves, I've completed the ones for Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Wario, Ganondorf, Marth, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, and Pac-Man.

Mean, indeed.

It'll tell you if you get a custom hat and outfit, at least.

At least its not completely merciless. [lol]

Speaking of hats, does anyone know how many there are in the game? I've collected quite a few but it still does not give me any notification and I'm not finding new ones.

Last time i checked I had 44.

Curses. Double numbers, but the wrong pair. Guess that means I'll have to keep looking.

I haven't gotten many new hats lately. Bye last one I got was the Wario Hat and I have 40 or 41 right now. I managed to get a Lacy Headband once, then lost it when I died like an idiot in a Classic run.

Losing something rare like a hat or move in Classic is truly the worst. It's like the game is taunting you even more than just giving you the knowledge you lost against mere CPU's, mostly due to cheap shots or bad luck. (Accursed Blizzard move!)

Master Hand also begins to fire ice projectiles (and more of them) on higher Intensities which is of course what you want to fight on to get more chances for hats.

Also, I am now certain that Lucina's vertical sword reach is worse than Marth's.

I don't really care too much for the hats though. After I get the Custom Moves I'll hammer the panel and have it be over.

Next to that panel all I need is the 50 hours panel. Even if I can't use my second and final hammer on it I'll just keep fighting anyway and unlock it someday.

Also, while you're right about Lucina, I still find her more fun to use than Marth.

I find Marth much more liberating to use. While I don't land tippers as frequently as most players, Marth is pretty safe even if he whiffs and/or the opponent shields which allows me to play him more aggressively than I thought I would. Lucina, for all her consistent strength feels far less safe to use than Marth.

(Also, Forward Smashing Master and Crazy Hand into oblivion because his tipper is just about guaranteed to land on them when they're idling is the best thing.)

Yeah, I don't play too safe. I like to calculate and strike, even if that may turn out bad for me.

I've found it to be the opposite- Lucina's consistent strength means she play a stronger defensive/counter-offensive game than Marth, who needs to always be pressing the attack. But hey, different strokes and all that, and at least they actually handle differently.

I sure said that!

Marth's attacks are just about all safer than Lucina's on block (tipped or untipped), so Marth can afford to be more on the offensive. In fact, Marth enjoys a more aggressive game due to the tipper mechanic rather than the other way around. Lucina has to be more on the defensive side and she has to employ spacing in order to not get left behind.

Meanwhile, I can't play Marth for the life of me, so I don't think I'll fare much better with Lucina. He feels way too stiff for my liking.

His and Lucina's side-B being a sword swing throws me off. I'm used to using side- and up-B moves to recover, and I fall to my death more often than not while swinging at air. The up-B is not that great as a recovery move either.

A fully charged Shield Breaker will, in the air, send them rocketing forward, so try using that if you get launched very far on an upwards diagonal.

So, last night, a stupendously terrible idea popped into my head.

A Devil's Machine stage.

"You cannot grasp the true form!"

Granted, I've never actually played Earthbound, and my only knowledge of it is what I've absorbed through Troper Osmosis, but it still makes me wonder what it would be like. And also made me desperately want to scrub the image from my mind so I could get some sleep.

[up][up] And that makes me so angry.

A Youtube Poop has no right to be this funny to me. I refuse to accept this!

[up] That needs to be in an Adventure Mode of some sort. A stage is not worthy of Giygas.
