This makes me realize just how little of an idea I have of what Crazy Hand does because I always focus on Master Hand and I practically have no idea what's going on in the rest of the battlefield in the meantime.

Do not get grabbed by Crazy Hand: His burrow throw can leave you stranded on one of the orange rising platforms that Master Hand tosses out.

(Also, his laser plant attack limits horizontal movement, which is also dangerous when combo'd with the rising platforms.)

I love Crazy Hand's spasm attack. It's so... Crazy Hand.

So I've been wondering... which I do A LOT... is Crazy Hand an actual being or a second and dark manifestation of Master Hand's power?

He only shows up together with Master Hand.

He was absent in Subspace Emmissary while Master Hand was captured.

He vanishes here when Master goes Crazy and transforms.

Only in the Non canon Boss Battles in Brawl did he show up by himself. And that could still be by Master Hand's will.

The only evidence that might contradict this is Crazy Orders. And even then it might still be Master Hand's powers in play.

If the Hands really belong to a child then who or what is Tabuu? I'd say his dad but what kind of dad chains his child's hand?

The kind of dad of a kid with possessed hands, naturally.

But the chains are probably metaphorical as is everything else.

Yeah, it probably is.

Although, if it isn't... that'd be really dark.

I haven't seen it either, and I both suck at Classic mode (I usually lose both stocks to the hands before I've even taken out 100 of their HP) and play it a lot.

Some one made a video about a theory where the main idea is that the Super Smash Bros. series is made from the imagination of an autistic child. I don't feel like digging it up, but it was interesting.

I always thought Tabuu was meant to symbolize the kid having grown up and trying not to play with the trophies anymore because he thinks being a grown-up means you can't play with toys, hence why Tabuu's name is written like taboo.

I have no idea what Master Core would represent though.

Speaking of amiibos, they better be well-made if they're going to charge as much as they are for them.

@Full Moon: Incidentally, there's a theory on the (or a) Smash wiki that suggests the same thing: that Tabuu represents the idea of putting away "childish" things.

So I've been wondering... which I do A LOT... is Crazy Hand an actual being or a second and dark manifestation of Master Hand's power?
I believe the series considers both to be true, in that Crazy Hand supposedly "embodies destruction" the same way Master Hand "embodies creation", yet they're apparently considered separate entities. In regards to the kid theory, I believe Crazy Hand is just the kid letting his imagination go wild, instead of being more controlled about it (which is why Crazy has more spastic movements and more elemental effects than Master).

Similar to the Tabuu theory, I think Master Core is simply unrestrained imagination (hence it exploding out of Master Hand and needing Crazy Hand to be present beforehand)... and possibly obsession (either with wanting to win against the Smashers, or with them in general, prolonging the final fight just so they spend more time with "the Master").

[up]Well, are the Skylanders or Disney Infinity toys well made enough? They're nearly the same price, and keep in mind that Nintendo's products are intended to be used with more than just one game, which may or may not have affected the price of the amiibos.

According to ProJared's amiibo preview, the figurines are of good quality. Not the best, but still shelf-worthy.
