I'd give it a sort of cone-shaped area-of-effect in front of Mewtwo. Not as horizontally ranged as, say, Mario's or Samus's, but with more vertical range further away.

I actually had that same idea today. It's rather silly that they use the term "feeding", since the equipment is all inedible objects.

Not all. Kirby's got lollipops.

Which is kinda odd, since Kirby is one of the few Smashers who eats non-edible things on a regular basis. Like parasols and shock waves (that's what the stars from Dedede's landing and Bonkers' hammer are, right?)

While the pokemon get the X Stat pills.

Or whatever clearly edible object they're supposed to represent.

Feeding just means that you lose the equipment once you put it on the amiibo.

Which isn't bad, equipment is easy to come by in Smash 3DS. Looks even easier on Wii U.

It doesn't appear to boost stats, either, just help push their experience along so they start being less brain dead.

I sure said that!

I can't find a change log. All I know to expect is Conquest results being hidden mid-event.

To Xenoblade fans: One of the comments of the Direct called something to attention; looks like we've got ourselves a Seven trophy at around 16:53 (Check the upper-right player's trophies). The trophy is showing us their back, so maybe Seven could be "masked"?

I wonder how they'll handle that description, considering some trophies in the 3DS already went through the "Spoilers!" route.

That's actually really weird of them to do that since the game only had a limited print run at first and is about to be rereleased into the mainstream.

That's exactly what I think, so I'm wondering if they'll keep the secret "hidden" somehow. Considering how silly descriptions are this time around, it wouldn't surprise Seven's would be something tongue-in-cheek.

"This is a Xenoblade Chronicles character. Seven has swords. That's all we can say."

The trophy's name is given as Mecha-Fiora. I doubt they're going to mask their role in the plot.

The only characters not spoiled by the direct at this point are Dark Pit, Dr. Mario, and Duck Hunt as far as I can tell.

[up][up][up]Welp, so much for that spoiler then. At least Seven is just part of one of many Wham Episodes, so I wonder how deep into Xenoblade's plot they'll go with the trophies.

Also, this means the chance of Seven as DLC has increased! ...As high as the chance of a single-game series recieving character DLC will ever get, that is; but still!

Xenoblade didn't have a limited print run or anything like that in the homeland, so I don't know why Sakurai would treat those spoilers more seriously than those of any other game.

Well, for us English-speaking types, it's not what they put down, but what the translators relay onto us, right? There's still a slim hope that they might know how well-guarded Xenoblade's spoilers are, and work around that. Maybe.

Well, like I said, we do have trophies in 3DS that through the "Spoilers!" route, so there's still a chance there.

Speaking of Xenoblade, I assume no one brought it up because of how hilariously mundane it is, but today's pic is a line of Shulks. Still, I kind of like how they made sure to catch the first in line and the last two in the middle of certain animations. It's certainly a little bit better than just having them all stand there.

Also, while I'm somewhat wary of Smash spoiling parts of Xenoblade for me once I bother to look at trophies, especially since I plan to get it now, I don't think I'll mind too much.note

I guess on spoilers, it is funny how they don't bother to go on with the plot of Pokémon X and Y with the XY Trainers, but still add spoiler character trophies.

We already have seen that Face Nemesis is in as a trophy, so might as well show the pilot.
