Between the recent releases on the Wii U and the announced games for it, I'm really glad the consoles been getting a lot of attention lately.
Anyway, does anyone else here like having to think that the Announcer is Master Hand, especially for the 50(+4)-Fact Extravaganza, just for the mental image of Master Hand hyping up BUTTONS and SOUNDS?
And yes, the Announcer does refer to Master Hand by name, but I'd think Master Hand would be the kind of guy who would sometimes like to refer to himself in the third person.
How about Events? I like the new tree system they have going on there.

I was speaking strictly of new modes, though, yes, the event system looks nifty. I might need to consider springing for an amiibo to handle the second half of them, if online co-op isn't an option.
I might end up pleasantly surprised by there being more depth to Smash Tour than there seems to be, but I'm not getting my hopes too high up.
I sure said that! It's reportedly changed between games; they all just generally use the same exact tone of voice.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyAlso, wow, the clone form Master Core takes is actually called Master Shadow. Those Persona 4 jokes seem a touch funnier.
Not really exact, but Xander's tone is really similar to Cashman's.

Yup, Master Hand has been voiced by the Announcer's voice since 64. And so is Crazy Hand, since Melee.

I called them Blades and Terror or Monster- It changed sometimes, just to be clearer- respectively.
Blades and Edges are kinda close, and... I honestly kinda like the more abstract name I came up with than Master Giant.
And yes, Master Edges is a real pain to fight.

I sure said that! Some would prefer epic Yarn.
As the stage appears to use nothing specific to either game world, I kind of prefer the Woolly World aesthetic, myself.
Anyway, Sakurai does occasionally throw in post Air Ride stuff. He replaced Kirby's final smash with the Ultra Sword power, and I noticed a Lor Starcutter trophy in the direct.
Though, a Lor Starcutter stage would be really cool, if a bit derivative of Halberd, or various Star Fox stages.

I have a message from another time...

Don't know why they'd start the opening with Shulk. It almost always begins with Mario.
Well I wasn't expecting much in the way of movies. The gameplay should be enough to keep my attention.
8-player Smash, Smash Tour, Special Smash and playing with my 3DS. I might not even get the Gamecube controller adapter...
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay
