Funny you mention that, because I (and many others) envisioned him as the inverse Mac in gameplay in that he'd be strong in the air.

What is a fandom? A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King SageI guess some of my complaints with the Direct would be the fact that you can't voice chat during matches, for "connection reasons".
I'm probably never going to use it anyway, but, really? Nintendo, what year is this?
Also I was super hype about 8 player matches, but then they said no online, that was disappointing. I don't think I'll ever get 8 people together, and is it really that hard to put that online?!
It was also kinda vague about it too. Is it just 8 player that has special stages? What about 6 or 5 player, is that online? What about friend matches? I was confused.
I'm sure all of these online limitations are because of technical limitations, but, again, really?! Isn't it like 2014, where current gen consoles can handle 64 players in Battlefield 4?
Granted, I don't anything about the tech that goes into these consoles or anything. So, if you have a good explanations why it's like this, or maybe an explanation of why Nintendo can't help it, feel free to call my opinion baseless. It probably is.
Even with these awkward wings, dyed with images that seem to stay. I'm sure we can fly, on my love! 3DS Friend Code: 2809-9138-8756From a gameplay standpoint, huh? Really? You think Smash Run would be better suited for a console that would require split-screen instead of the one where each player has their own screen?
From an aesthetic standpoint, I half-agree. The boards in Smash Tour seem kinda cheaply made. They're just glowy lines and sprites on a static background. Contrast with Smash Run's big, detailed fully 3D map.
Granted, there are multiple boards in Smash Tour and one Smash Run map. Probably not fair to expect grand, Mario Party style maps in just one mode of a game that has loads of modes.

There's also the fact that the Smash Run boards, from a design standpoint, couldn't have possibly taken as much effort to design as Smash Run's Labyrinth even all together.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay. From an aesthetic standpoint, I half-agree. You mean Pit is shorter than Little Mac.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
