I'm just glad that they've made them noticeably less obnoxious to activate this time around.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyAlso, I guess we can quit spoiling Wario. He appears in Luigi's Final Smash Trophy.
EDIT: Also, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! I called it! I called the Wii U All-Star Mode fight order being set in reverse of the 3DS All-Star Mode! So Game & Watch will become the final character fought again.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!My favourite part is finally seeing Jigglypuff in HD graphics consideirng how great she looks. I'm surprised to see spoiler:her on the default roster, though. So this means that all of the original 12 are on the starting roster of the Wii U version.
I'm surprised that we have yet to see any mention of Golden Sun at all neither on the 3DS nor the Wii U version and considering there was nothing referencing that franchise in the 3DS version, I don't expect anything different in the Wii U version especially considering that version will focus on console games.
Brought the 3DS to work to run the "10 hours of Smash" challenge. Just have it on mute and hidden away as i run 99-stock matches (would do infinite time, but i don't know if the clock counts "No Contest" endings).
Falco has been chosen as my Butt-Monkey, him against two nice and soft level 3 CP Us who will take a while to kill each other even after they finish tearing through Falco's lives.
This means the only non-starter Pokémon is Mewtwo. It is a little weird.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerWith the wealth of Kid Icarus stuff in the games, it would've been more surprising if the codecs hadn't been in. ... It's really a very smart move on Sakurai's part. KI:U was reasonably successful, but by cementing the game's presence like this in such a flagship franchise, their pop-culture relevance is improved by a lot. I'd be surprised if a sequel wasn't in the works soon.
... or did you mean that we actually predicted their content perfectly? That would be funny.
(Speaking of those codecs and funny, I watched the whole thing in Japanese for funsies and completely lost it at Pit's comment about DK.
Just... the way he says it and how succinct Japanese can be. "Hadaka nekutai na no ni." "Despite the Naked Necktie.")
...o_o
I just realized that a Legendary Pokémon is only available by special distribution.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerOf all the characters behind the "spoiler wall", should it really be the one who just yesterday got his very own reveal trailer that pretty much everybody in this thread already saw?
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guySo after a day and a half, I've finally watched the Direct from... yesterday?... and caught up with this thread. I'd share my thoughts, but first:
My curiosity's getting the best of me, so I'd like to know why you (or anyone else for that matter) found wrong with the trailer. After reading through (10+) pages of gushing (as well as me also reacting to the Direct positively), I welcome any other opinion that suggests that maybe some people were disappointed with the Direct, and what exactly they were disappointed in.
Besides, it's hard to keep something from being an echo chamber when there really hasn't been any contrary opinions besides what's being echoed posted yet. The only tropers I saw who had been bothered by anything were Pulse (on Ridley and random elements) and Demonfly (regarding the Masterpieces returning, I believe).
I'm not trying to goad people into arguing, but I'd like to think that the people in this thread can respect any opinion (unless it's presented in a flame-bait manner).
