Oh, Bluebur actually got banned?
I feel bad because I sorta caused his ban, even though I didn't do anything wrong.
Still, I'm guessing Sakurai didn't show Ridley in the first Smash Bros Direct because he wasn't finished yet, he does seem to be harder to program than say, Yellow Devil. So instead of just casually saying Ridley was a stage boss he simply hinted it with whatever they had already managed to do with him. I don't think Sakurai was going out of his way to troll anyone.
Alternatively, the whole tag-team mechanic may have been implemented much later in development.
It would explain the complete lack of coverage for the Flying Men up until release.

What the hell, Sakurai, Meta Ridley isn't a glowy normal Ridley, it's a term for Ridley's cybernetic augmented form in the Prime games. I don't understand where this idea even came from.

He still could have said "Ridley is restricted to showing up in Pyrosphere" or something like that, instead of teasing us for no reason except to disappoint people later on.

I sure said that! It's also possible he thought of making him playable(which is why he didn't reveal his role at the time) but changed his mind. Hard to say.
Regardless, if he becomes playable via DLC(not hard to imagine considering Ridley acts like a fighter even by the game's standards), cool. If he doesn't, fair enough.
Shadow? What exactly is Metal Face rambling about? I can't hear him well enough.
Anyway, I was an avid Ridley supporter, but I knew this was coming ever since that April direct, so I've had time to dissipate my disappointment.
At least he seems like a very cool boss hazard.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!"Blah blah die blah", basically.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyEven in videos, the shipping is strong with these games.
I feel my avatar is somewhat relevant here. At the very least, my title is.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Pit: "Is that a Pokémon?"
Palutena: "That's correct, Pit! And not just any Pokémon. That's Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokémon. It has powerful psychic abilities, making it one of the most feared Pokémon in all the world. Some say it can speak with humans with telepathy. Some others say it doesn't want to."
Pit: "So why's he called the Genetic Pokémon?"
Palutena: "Well, Mewtwo is the result of a great many genetic experiments performed by human scientists. They were trying to make a clone of the legendary Pokémon, Mew."
Pit: "Mew...Two? Not the most original name."
Palutena: "I think it's a great name."
Pit:: "Huh? But it's just-"
Palutena: "Short, snappy, and to the point. I dare say any clone should be happy to have a name as good as that."
Dark Pit: "..."

... So, in things that are not "Pulse takes video game elements way, way too seriously"-
The paint and revamped stage builder bits are nifty, albeit somewhat ripe for abuse.
... And I really hope there's more Mii Fighter costumes. The ones on the 3DS are good but a bit limited.
Also: Xander Mobus has an amazing voice. Here's hoping he gets to stick around for Smash V, tradition be damned.

I sure said that!I am able to tweet at the announcer. This is so surreal.
Souleye - PPPPPP - Potential for Anything 3DS FC: 2621-3105-8671Nintendo is creating a ton of jobs by implementing a stage that needs to be monitored that closely.
Good for them!

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm not sure there's a large enough force to hold back that tidal wave of dicks.
I'd love to mess with paint, but I have no artistic skills to speak of.
Also: Y'know, it's designed for 5+ player matches but I think Big Battlefield looks interesting for even something like 1-on-1.

They never disclaimed 'em, and considering the Kid Icarus and Star Fox crews only have new scripts for the Wii U version, here's hoping!

I sure said that!

I do wish there was a central platform of sorts in that stage but he's certainly gonna be fun.
