To be fair, Brawl's highly defensive play makes Lucario able to survive longer. In the other games, it's easier to KO at lower percentages. That means his gimmick is weakened in that case. So them removing it and giving him a new gimmick to make him more viable is a logical move. Him being more like Ryu is not the move I think was good, but at least the attempt is far nicer than making him gimmick really non-viable.

Shadow?I will go on record and say I do like the magic series idea. It's just making him an obligatory Shotoclone might've been a bit too far with the Fighting reference.
Was pretty gratuitous though.
Although considering Ganondorf's Flame Choke is basically Kyo and Iori's flame grab from King Of Fighters I'd lol if in the next update he now plays like Iori Yagami.
Are explosions science? Here's the voting thread
. The list of likely candidates at the moment is in the OP.
Arrows and Electrodash Arm have different attack properties from their counterparts. There's also the Final Smash, but I guess that one don't count?
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Dark Samus actually possesses different basic properties and a different fighting style from Samus, being the Metroid Prime and all.
If Metroid gets a fourth character (hahaha never gonna happen), that would be my pick.
Looking at the poll, it's kinda painful to see Lyn getting so much support. At least Ridley's getting a lot of it. (Seriously, Ridley alone would be enough to fully convince me to get Project M.)

Ganondorf has. His toon variant also got shown, but that doesn't mean much. Ness was shown in two separate pictures. His gameplay and a silly plushie in the same picture as Toon Ganondorf.
Those and Lucina are the only hidden characters shown or spoken of in a Pic of the Day.

Aside from those two special moves, all other Attack properties, and physical properties such as his speed, jump height, hitboxes, and weight, are identical. The difference those two moves make are negligible.

It is, but it's true to it's purpose from it's origin game. Being a sniper weapon packed with power.
The arrows are still a good part of the gameplay of both. Also, because their Side Specials launch the opponents differently, the potential for different follow ups will be there.

No, he's been extensively analyzed and measured. Everything is the same.

It's just you. People ran the numbers, and they are identical in terms of attributes and damage output.

A miserable little pile of flame wars! 3DS FC: 0387-9377-7408 PSN ID: Raven King Sage@Raven: Believe me, there are plenty of characters from Fire Emblem I want over Lyn (one of whom happens to be a C-tier candidate!), but as far as Project M is concerned she's the most practical since A: she's the poster child for FE 7 since everyone hates Eliwood, and B: she already has a model in-game to work with, cutting out a big part of potential development. That last point is a huge factor for this thing, so just keep that in mind.
I thought for sure you'd get behind Hector, but it makes sense that you would support Lyn now that you brought up the model thing.

As much as I hate to say it, Lyn probably is the poster kid for 7. First Lord in the game and all that. Also she probably is also the most popular Lord, with Hector closely behind. She's basically the western Marth.

Nah, he's not a clone of Mario. He just turns his up smash into a Shoryuken and his nair into a Tatsu. His special moves are more or less intact. The changes were a bit gratuitous though.
