Final Smashes all seem to be toned down a little this game.

Pit's... Danmaku Final Smash doesn't seem too terribly deadly especially if you get behind him.

Gust Bellows + Battlefield = GG suckers!

Brilliant if you're using it, considerably less good if you're on the receiving end. Also very fun on Balloon Flight since you blast people into all the stage hazards. evil grin

Funny Moments:
Just did a With Anyone match as Peach on Pictochat. I've become stale with her, so I wasn't doing so hot, especially against two Bowsers and a Zero Suit. I was KO'd once or twice by Bowser butt-stomps, while Zero Samus was doing the most damage but failing to get kills. Then, close to the end of the match, a Smash Ball appeared. Somehow, I manage to break and use Peach's Final Smash right when Pictochat changed into the faucet, meaning everyone fell asleep and off the stage, netting me KOs. Then the match ended and I won. All this happen while there was a good bit of lag.

...

I'll probably start doing For Glory matches tomorrow.

I did a few friendly matches on web play with some friends of mine. Varied between games with input delay but playable and UUUURGH.

The worst thing about the Gust Bellows is that when the CPUs get it, they always know to knock you off an edge, hang out near said edge, and blow you away until you can't recover.

Which is why when one of them appears, priority #1 becomes getting it before they do, or at least killing them before they can use it.

So, you know what's hilarious?

Finding out all the silly things the Guardian Orbitars can bounce.

Like Spiked Face Balls. And Soccer Balls. And those little sword ball things Master Core's sword form shoots out

Long story short; Balls don't beat angels. That's not something I ever expected to say.

BTW do you guys use any of the extra palettes and shit they added? Because I can't see myself never using NES Golf/Steel Ball Run Mario, Tharja-Lucina, Pink Hoodie Lil Mac and Fusion and Light Suit Samus and Fusion Bikini Zamus again because HOLY SHIT they rock.

Did some For Glory. I wasn't as bad as I thought as I would be. I did well as Toon Link. Robin was good at first, but then a Mac player kicked my ass. So Pikachu came in to clean up.

Get used to seeing Mac. He seems to be the go-to guy for "character that people pick to win matches for For Glory records", at least according to some Smashers. It probably helps that Omega stages benefit him the most.

Mac likes Omega stages. The only possible stage he'd do better on is a theoretical totally-flat walk-off, since then his bad recovery wouldn't be a factor.

Smash pushes the 3DS so hard it can't boot up Miiverse while playing the game.

That's also why it reboots the system when you close the game- To clear the system memory enough to do something else.

The New 3DS, with its added processing power, will be able to run it like any other game, though.

Ooh, I just had a STELLAR For Fun Match just now. I love goofing aroun as Villager, especially when said goofing is effective. The others wound up getting hit by my growing trees a lot more often than expected.

It even came down to SD between me and the Mac. One Lloid Rocket sealed the deal. Wish I saved the replay.

Me and my brother just binged on making miis to make fighters out of.

So far I've made fighters of Doc Louis, Nicolas Cage, and Adolf Hitler (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist).

I've got 30 at the moment, but they're all my system Mii in different colors- Light green and brown made everything look ugly, but I've got all the rest in all three character types.

I bought my Smh4sh digitally (And just barely managed to grab a juicy 16gb SD card a few days before release so it'd fit)

It is a fucking system taxer like no other but it runs great.

For Glory Little Macs, in a nutshell. I find this especially funny since I fought just such a Little Mac earlier today.

Whereas I've so far just tried to score an opening via Straight Lunge or Jolt Haymaker.

This has resulted in at least two SDs, to my eternal shame.
