I can get Villager on Nov 28? Perfect 1-day early birthday present for your truly.
And speaking of Villager,
I got a wee chuckle out of this (not embedding it in case of spoilers)
Until a month after the Wii U version is released, as per the general spoiler policy of the forum. Though with the rampant non-tagging that's been happening, it may be better to just abandon the internet the thread, but as was mentioned before, it is done out of courtesy.
That said, I'm also curious about a "head count".
Just beat Classic on 8.5! Started at 9.0, only died once. Was deeply unfortunate to get the a fourth fight against Lucina, Little Mac and Duck Hunt Duo on perhaps the game's most brutal stage, Balloon Flight.
The final battle against Master Core was truly epic. Before it even properly started I'd reached 73% damage, and I lost my first stock early on against the Beast form on about 180% damage. I was at that again on my second stock, somehow taking no damage whatsoever against the giant version of myself (Pacman).
I should point out that I used a custom fighter for this, starting with a Beam Sword which came in very handy. Interesting to note about the final fight: when the Master Core mimics you, it takes on your custom moves. In this case, for me that meant the Dire Hydrant special.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.I just beat Classic with Palutena again and completed her staff roll pic (the first time was my very first time clearing the mode, so it caught me off guard and I ended up hitting Start and skipping the whole thing). Of course, they seemingly use this pic to give Palutena even more of a suggestive vibe, since it's basically a reference to the Kid Icarus series' hot springs, and she's "bathing" while being peeped on by Falcon and Luigi. Stay classy, Sakurai.
And I still have the rest of the cast placed after Palutena on the Character Select screen (aside from Mii Gunner) to clear Classic with. -sigh-
My store just announced they are getting the Smash bundle with the GC controller and adapter. I was a little worried that they wouldn't sell them here. Pricey preorders, here I come!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Only character I've beaten Classic with on Intensity 9.0 so far is Megaman. Almost had it with Ness, though (he seriously trivialises the swords, if you use PSI Magnet to absorb the orb things that they fire). I've been meaning to get around to finishing Classic with all characters, but I'm having too much fun on Smash Run.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guy@60486: Nobody really expected it to stay legal, anyway. Sector Z was banned in 64, and Corneria was banned in Melee, Brawl, and P:M. Why would 3D be any different?
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerStreet Smash is such a blatant Tin Pin clone it's almost funny. How did Nintendo get away with that, anyway?
I do enjoy those Great Fox-based stages(Sector Z and remakes), but they're not that great for tourneys.
@Odd1: At least with Sonic Battle, trying to get 9 of every card, expect the Combos(which you need another game for, in which case you get all of them, then erase the data), is a goal that's worth doing. You can trade those to other players. I can't think of a reason to get multiples of anything in this game. :/ Except obvious Coins.

Intensity required for all forms - 7.1 or higher. 7.5 is my highest win, and that started at 9.0 I think.
