I finally managed to beat Classic Mode on a mid-range intensity with 0 continues using Lucina. Beating Master Hand in one go for the first time felt so good. Funnily enough when I won a customization item earlier in that session I self-mockingly asked myself how long until I lost it.

A guy made a basic rundown on how do Shulk's Monado Arts affect his stats. Turns out there's a little more to them than what Sakurai let out. For instance, Speed appears to make Shulk jump lower alongside the reduction in power.

So you use Speed and Jump to chase them down, Buster to rack up the damage, and the Smash to finish them off. Sounds fun.

Yeah, I noticed that in Smash Run, when I was using Hyper Monado Arts.

I found out that you DON'T have to finish every panel entirely to get the next one. That's some good news. Still gonna take a long time to unlock everything though.

Unlocking custom parts is haaaard. Everything is random. When they show, which ones show, where they show...

And I really wish that there were more stages. These ones are so small...

I still like this game, despite all the things in it I'm having trouble with it. Still loved Brawl the most so far though.

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay

I wish the 3DS version didn't get sacked with all the old Brawl stages. It's like they were lazy and didn't want to think of any new or interesting stages.

And why the hell is it called Gaur Plain if we're fighting in a damn canyon?

Yeah, it's a shame they didn't come up with interesting stages. Like a boxing ring from Punch-out, a living room, on top of a train, in a maze from Pac-Man, or even a paper-like stage that changes itself. If they had stuff like that, it would be really cool. But, alas, they were too lazy to.

Because the playable area in its home game is a plain, more or less. The Smash stage is taking place on those huge cliffs surrounding it.

To be honest, it should really be called "Bionis' Leg", since Gaur Plain is only one small area on that map.

Of course, that's an oddity that carries over from Xenoblade itself, where the Bionis' Leg music is titled "Gaur Plain".

[up] Please don't.

You said "they didn't want to think of any new or interesting stages". So, your argument was clearly flawed. No, I did not know what you meant, since I just looked at what you said.

Nitpicking here (and yes it is), Pictochat is a DS system feature, which is handheld only. They did refurbish it to include new drawings and an Omega version.

They did need a DK stage for the 3DS version and Jungle Japes seems to be one of the better ones.

Also, calm down.

Pic of the Day is Conquest Mode's overseas introduction (somewhat).

They DID do StreetPass. Find Mii is one of the games included on the StreetPass Mii Plaza.

I sure said that!

...Oh yeah. It's also one of the cooler stages.

But fuck Find Mii. I hate that you have to have a hero that has the same color shirt as the shield.

Where the hell am I supposed to find a guy with a purple shirt?

@[up][up][up],[up][up]: I'm pretty sure he's referring to the real Find Mii game, not the Smash version. He's probably talking about having difficulty Street Passing a purple Mii.note

Also, spoilers (aka unlockable characters - sans Lucy - and stages) need to be tagged unless you're in the leak/spoiler thread. I know how pointless it is saying this, but it still needs to be said.note

[up][up]Oh. I have noticed that out of all my Streetpasses, everyone seems to LOVE red, blue and the occasional black. Know how many white-garbed Miis I got? TWO, if not one.

As for the shield, that can easily be bypassed with Magic. Unless the shield bearer happens to No Sell magic. I think hat happened once.

@BlueBlur Just use play coins. You had to pass a purple Mii at some point right?

If not, you can keep buying wandering warriors until you get purple.

And I think the scariest character for me has to be Little Mac, he's so powerful, and he if ever gets you with one of his KO attacks, oh geez.

Not to mention his final smash which just makes him even MORE POWERFUL!!!!

It doesn't help that my first online match was against a Little Mac user, he won every single match I fought against him. He could KO anyone in a few hits.

It's not just because of that though, generally any fight I've had against Little Mac has been difficult, just one hit could spell your end.

[up]I love Little Mac to bits. I love Punch Out, and I love how he's treated here. He's my main, and boy is he fun.

I just love how lopsided he is. He can kill you as easily as he can kill himself.
