it is pretty hilarious how much flying man can fuck your shit up.

magicant is probably my favourite stage in the game as a result of it.

Another fun fact: That channel above belongs to Ze Ro, the winner of the Smash Invitational.

"Remember, Ness, how you led us to our deaths all those years ago? Well, how do you like that now?!"

Not sure why they attack other fighters. Or why they sometimes fight on Ness's side. In fact, this joke about something I never played was poorly thought out. You may ignore it.

first person to touch the flying man is the one it fights for.

Huh. I just touched one and it helped me. I get it now.

Okay. These things are kinda cool.

I both like and dislike the Flying Men. On the one hand, they're a hilarious and touching reference to Earthbound's Magicant. On the other hand, Magicant is an otherwise really nice stage, which is kinda ruined for one-on-one due to the predictably-spawning, extremely powerful pseudo Assist Trophy that is Flying Man.

On the other hand, if it's a predictable part of the stage, is it really that unfair?

Sure, it's important to claim the flying man, but it's not "Whoever is standing closest to a randomly spawning item gets an advantage"

Magicant became my favorite stage mostly due to the Flying Men.

considering the massive advantage the flying man gives, i dont think theres any chance of the normal version of the stage not being banned in serious tournaments, but in more casual games unless you're someone who takes your win/loss record very seriously there shouldnt be too much of a problem.

I really need to play Earthbound sometime. It looks really unique and interesting.

It's made by the same people as Magical Starsign, right? I liked that game way more than I expected to.

Magicant became my favorite stage due to the incredible remixes. They may not be the best for fighting, but dang... THAT SMILES AND TEARS REMIX THOUGH.

[up][tup]

oh wait, yess brownie brown developed mother 3 at the very least, so that by the same people who developed magical starsign.

I love Smash Run. It's so cool to fight tons of enemies with a souped up fighter.

Kinda makes me wish the Omega stages were, rather than Final Destinations, instead gimmickless versions if the stage.

Like, Omega Magicant wouldn't spawn Flying Man, and Omega Paper Mario would be one of the three screens for the whole battle.

For the last time, I am NOT obsessed with her! And besides, she's an actual character with a personality and goals and a mission. You really can't compare the two.

Even then, she's more than just a fictional video game heroine. She's awesome. She's headstrong and independent, oh, and she's smart and she will literally go back in time to save the people she loves.

Dear Blueblur, please stop trying to argue about things. It's clearly not working out for you. Thank you.

Fingers crossed we get a reverse Metal Face and the Wii U version has a Flying Man-free Magicant?

I sure said that!

Do we know if we're going to get another Pokemon Stadium in the Wii U version? I can't remember if they showed one. I'm still waiting for one that incorporates all 18 types.
