True, but an effort must be made regardless.
Asking again since it was on the bottom of the last page: Should we make another thread for tourney organizations or should we just stick to this thread? I'm fine with whichever, but I feel a separate thread may prevent cluttering up this thread too much.

Anyone got any advice for using Rosalina and Luma? The instruction booklet that came with the game only has the basics and I've been mostly spamming the A and B buttons while standing in one place.
Also I hope it's just because I'm playing alone but I don't find Smash Run all that fun from what little of it I have played.
@Chariot: Most 3DS games (and I assume Wii U games as well) have digital manuals now. You just need to go to the Home screen and hover over the game, then you should see "Manual" next to "Open" (or "Resume" if you went to Home mid-game) at the bottom of the screen.
That said, the character section of Smash''s manual contains their basic Special moves list and some info (such as Rosie's Luma Shot being able to be charged, or that items drawn into Gravitational Pull can damage foes while being pulled towards you). There's no advanced tips or anything though.

Rosalina has some pretty powerful Customs. Like, with the proper setup, she's probably top tier material.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!A lot of people think Rosalina's going to be top tier material even without custom moves. She's just that good.
From what I've been looking up, a lot of Rosalina's aerials have some pretty stupid disjoints in them, so abuse them. The Luma is your main source of knockback and power, as his smash attacks can be very devastating even on relatively low percents. Luma can also still attack while Rosalina is still in hitstun, so you can use that to prevent any setups your opponent tries to pull. Lastly, Luma Shot is a really good kill move especially when fully charged, so you can use that to knock them away while also simultaneously creating a wall for your opponent to get through.
Did they say anything about post-release balance patching?
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.In other news, Donkey Kong's Down-B still makes mincemeat of multi-man smash. I got to 148 in Endless Smash before getting KO'd.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I'm back home and ready to Smash it up. I had a fun outting after buying the game this morning. Alas I did not get to meet who I was looking for at Nintendo World (curse my qualms about venturing out at night), but I got this little badboy
while there. I'm honestly surprised this was on sale there! And I even saw a Luigi Nendoroid (that I already own) in the Year of Luigi memorabilia section! As well as Link ans Samus Figmas in the Zelda/Medroid displays. Alas, those were not on sale there.

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefI've already played a bunch of matches with friends, did better than I thought I would. The very first thing I did when I started the game was play a few 1-on1 matches against level 9 CPU's. I quickly discovered I suck with Mario characters. I fought Marth with Mario and Robin with Peach and got my ass kicked without managing to defeat either of them once.
not everyone has, or is going to get, a wii u.
the hype itself comes from the fact that the game has been hyped up for months now. god forbid people get excited to finally play it.

Trying to keep spoilers of characters is a noble effort, but it will never ever work for any game. Ever.
