I like Kozaki, but Awakening's not exactly his strongest stuff, especially the female units' designs. Hopefully, the next main game uses a different artist - not because I particularly want to see him gone, but because the series' changing visual identity between installments would be something I'd hate to lose.
...Sacred Stones is an excellent starting place. It's pretty easy overall, allows for grinding if you need it, and has a panic button that can solo the first half of the game should you need the help. Plus it segues into Awakening well.
Still wish we could get Ephraim. A magic user took priority, but now FE needs a lance user.
Perhaps she isn't wearing the British version of pants either under that dress thingy.
They don't usually fight beyond Smash, though.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Yeah?
I never said it wasn't dumb here, too. It's more excusable, though, because they're not going to go and completely redesign the characters just so they're wearing combat-suitable clothing.
And it's not like they're melee fighters. Most of their moves are magical, so a dress won't get as in the way as it would if you're using, say, a sword.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."it is basically a longer version of the cheongsam that chun-li wears. doesnt seem to cause problems for chun-li, and unlike chun-li lyn doesnt have to fight with kicks.
(come to think of it, isnt that a civilian outfit? as in, its what she normally wore before bandits attacked? it hasnt got any armor on it and nothing really indicates its anything more than her casual clothes)

X5: You'll note that none of them go into battle in dresses in their home series.
Zelda has a neat little Combat Skirt/Long Dress/Tights combo that's still not very good, Peach never fights, and Rosalina... Well, she's a deity, she floats, and she's keeping a galaxy under there. She can do whatever she wants, considering her biggest fight was ramming Bowser's space fleet at light speed.

Yes, with crying/parasols/frying pans.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Besides, I think it looks pretty neat when someone fights in formal attire. See Battle Butler and Ninja Maid.

It's a sort of Battle Ballgown thing, with most of the front of the skirt missing.
And seriously, we're critiquing the sense of any aspect of a Mario game? Good luck with that- That series is about an Italian plumber who jumps five times his own height fighting evil turtles to save mushroom people. It'd be incredibly bizarre if we all weren't so used to it.

I sure said that!

i think the artist was going for a weird tilt affect and bungled it up massively.
and probably couldnt decide the angle of the shot; the feet are experiencing foreshortening in order to look that small while her upper body is whats going away from the camera.
s'weird.
