[up] Forward, Up, Up, Down. Provided the properties of Dancing Blade haven't changed too much, that's the combo I usually used as Marth in Brawl. It's fast, has a chance to Meteor, and the last hit helps rack up damage. If you're going for a KO, make the combo Forward, Up, Down/Forward, Up as the final hit in the Up strand has the highest knockback.

So do you keep pressing the button for each direction?

Yes. The timing isn't very sensitive in Brawl like it was in Melee. No idea about For.

Okay. Do you have to time it or just wait until she swings?

I don't know exactly how it works in For. I can't play as Marth in the demo and I haven't heard anything about the properties of the attack.

In Melee, you had to time it fair precisely. In Brawl, the timing mattered but the window was rather large. It would be best for you to just go into Training mode and get the feel of the timing yourself.

I think that Brawl handled the timing much better, mostly because I could never pull off more than two hits of the damn thing in Melee.

Brawl does indeed have a much wider window for inputting commands for Dancing Blade. I'd be surprised if that changed for 4, considering that it's more akin to a faster Brawl than anything else.

I sure said that!

So is Lucina holding a cute object (Kirby, Pikachu, Wario...you get the point) a thing now?

An extremely important thing to remember about Lucina is she is extremely perceptive in a fight and absolutely nowhere else.

I was absolutely not expecting it, but Picto-Chat was awesome in Brawl and the sequel looks even better.

Lucina is NOT my waifu!

Seriously, though. Why did they put Pictochat in? It's not even on 3DS!

I liked the Pictochat stage in Brawl, so I'm glad to see it's being expanded upon here. Not tourney-viable, obviously, but I think it's fun.

@Blue: Dude, Lucina is totally your waifu. Best to just accept it, I think. tongue

[up][up]Well, I dunno, it depends on how big and deadly the hazards are- Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Halberd usually considered an acceptable stage in tourneys, since the three attacks from the Combo Cannon are all telegraphed significantly and are only present half the time?

I sure said that!
