No...you should be able to add a 4th player. Unless you're in group mode.

I'm not trying to gloat but it occurs to me now that I must be really good at Smash. I played at level 9s from the beginning and win most every time. surprised

I was really afraid I'd be killing my circle pad during my practice on the demo but it looks like my playstyle is not aggresive enough for that to actually happen.

My playstyle's the same as ever I think, but I've gotten used to not flicking the 3DS pad harshly after playing my 3DS (and certain other titles) for so long. I still want another 3DS though.

I haven't played Smash in over two years, so I'm a bit stale. It'll be a while before I can take on level 9s (let alone three of them; the other games have soured me on trying a free-for-all with 3 COM characters).

I actually really hate playing against CPUs. There's just something... off-putting and annoying about them, even when I clearly win. Which... is another reason I'm not 100% sure I want to buy the 3DS version, ehehe... Well, playing online is always an option, but it's not like I can play online on the go.

They do seem to be even more blood-thirsty this time around during FFA. I've had CP Us just hold onto their Final Smash for twenty seconds just because I'm not in front of them to get hit by it.

So, I just learned that you can activate your Final Smash by having a Pokémon that came out of a Pokéball you threw break the Smash Ball.

Thanks for the help, Entei!

[up][up]If you're not in a good position, the Cpu won't use them. They are smart.

The CPUs are getting more annoying in every game. Now if you're down a point and the match is almost over, the CPU will run away from you and spam dodge until the time runs out. I don't remember if they did that in previous games too, but it's aggravating here.

That's just the Cpu being actually smarter and not being always aggressive like in Brawl.

If the standard CPUs are this smart, imagine how smart amiibos are gonna be, since they learn from whatever they fight...

amiibos...I can't wait...

And the demo menu has a connect-to-Wii U button on it! Dunno for what, but since I'm getting both versions I know I'll use it.

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay

It would be nice if you could sync the rosters between the two games. "Oh, I already unlocked everyone on the 3ds, so let's put them on my Wii U."

But unlocking characters is fun!

Except a certain Melee Pokémon that is...

Speaking of which, I'd be totally okay with paid-for DLC if you could link the two versions to unlock that character or stage or whatever for both games.

I sure said that!

Didn't you just have to play for a while to get Mewtwo in Melee? That's how I remember getting him.

Mega Man is totally one of my mains. He's kind of slow but he hits hard and you can chain his attacks together.
