Well Rosalina could have more of an impact in one of the few Mario titles with an actual plot; the RP Gs.
Granted I'm fine with her being part of Mario's team in the plotless main series games, just a suggestion as to where she could be added that would add more plot.
And on the subject of Rosalina...

@58475: Like I said before, she ranks above Waluigi but below Blue/Yellow Toad right now. Hoping future games will change that.

I still can't believe that, for several years, I thought there was a Wii game called "Wario & Waluigi: Partners in Crime", but when I tried to pothole it recently, it turned out to have been just a very vivid dream I had in 2009 or so.

I like using the Wii Zapper with it.
you can't get the "visual obstruction" items to affect the AI the way they affect a human, at least not easily. It could be that they still function without visibility, but function at a lower level (e.g. when Nintendog is on stage, a level 9 will function like a level 8, or 7 maybe). To rewire the CPU to function based on what the computer can or can't "see" (as we the players see) would be a massive undertaking)
In Mario Kart, if the AI is hit by the screen-obscuring oil, they just swerve all over the road. Couldn't they just have the AI in this game move around erratically and make random attacks whenever a screen-obscuring AT comes up?

Sounds like what was happening with me and Kid Icarus Uprising or Dead or Alive: Dimensions. I suggest taking a break from it for a while.
That's pretty much the main problem with playing high-input twitch reaction 3DS games. It can mess with your hands if you play them for too long.
I spent most of the morning playing Mega Man some more, but switched it up by trying the others again. I'm good with Pikachu, and I can definitely tell that Link's been improved for the better (at least for me), but I'm just so-so with Villager. I don't know if they've buffed the AI in this game, but I'm still having trouble dealing with level 8-9 COM players, so I'm still mostly fighting level 7s.
Right now, I'm just sitting here listening to the Tips Menu theme. It's pretty nice.

So I think I'm getting pretty good. It's pretty hard on the circle pad, but at least I haven't ripped it out yet.
The A.I. seems a lot smarter than in Brawl. That's..."good", but at least one-on-one on Omega Battlefield is still winnable.
I'm starting to like Megaman and his forward smash. I'm not used to using projectile moves for actual K.O.s. Samus' and Mewtwo's and Lucarios always took too much charging...

You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayWell then, that makes me feel a little less bad. I was getting all down on myself for actually losing a match against to level 5s one time. Hasn't happened since, but still, level 5. Main problem is that it can be hard to hit them with any hard-hitting moves.

The A.I. for Lvl. 9 actually seems hard, there's none of a certain chance that I'll win. I actually have a chance of losing.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Mario in particular is a little difficult due to the AI being able to pull off a frame-perfect cape consistently. Same with reading your inputs to airdodge perfectly.
Although human players can obviously be far more difficult to defeat, the specific methods used by Level 9 CPU players are a little disorienting at first.

It seems like they do to me — at one point I was fighting three CP Us and had over 100 percent while they all had 50 — but that could've just been me being reckless.

No, they have actual strategies and play defensively at times.
They've been really good at faking me out at a rare chance.

I really just want a game where all the underrepresented Mario characters get their time to shine. Like, you play as Waluigi trying to rescue Daisy with the help of Rosalina.
