Classic cast? There's only 2 re-occuring characters from Classic that can actually shoot lemons and charge shots.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Quick question about the demo: could one not, theoretically, get around the issue of having only 30 uses by deleting the game from your system and then redownloading it? Or does the system still register the uses you've...uh, used?
Well, dang.

I sure said that!![]()
I think using all the classic cast would go for a little more comedic FS than the one we have now. It'd be cool either way.
Well, I guess my point is... It kinda takes me out of the moment? Like, Mega Man doesn't even know who any of those other guys are. Two are from much further down his timeline and another two are from an alternate dimension where digital technology displaced robotics as the important innovation.
I sure said that! So, I found out that the demo stage has 2 modes:
- Classic Party Fighter.
- No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination.

Until the Classic games establish that Dr. Light had children at some point (which I don't think they have), none. Remember that Lan and Hub are Light's grandchildren in the Battle Network series (or something; it's been a long time since I've played Battle Network, so I've forgotten what their familial ties are at the moment).
As for Mega Man summoning other Mega Men to aid him instead of having other Classic characters join him, questions like that are why I wish there was a "developers compendium" for Smash, since I'm really interested in the thought processes behind design choices like that.
That said, I'm willing to bet (not really) that someone on the staff (either on the Capcom side or the Nintendo side) probably wanted Mega Man to have some of his aspects reference more than just his series of games (kind of like how Lucas and Ness reference their entire party with their moves, or Pac-Man referencing the whole of Namco Arcade with his), but instead chose to just have the other Mega Men be regulated to Final Smash cameos.

It took six months for Smashboards to make a tier list of Brawl. This is going to be a long six months, then. Assuming they don't wait for the Wii U version to come out.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Mario doesn't seem all that much improved from Brawl, but I'll blame that on me readjusting to the controls. It's so satisfying to land attacks. The black lightning is a nice touch that helps with that.
Really wish I had my charger with me. The three matches I played (as Mario, Link, and Mega Man) drained what little battery power I had left. Then again, maybe it's for the best, since I have to work today, and I don't think they'll accept "lost time playing Smash Bros." as a valid excuse for being late.

Gosh I'm bad with Mega Man. I just want to punch things. Why can't you just punch things Megs?
I mean, his moveset's awesome, and I love his Final Smash, but I'm just so bad at playing him. So many different things to remember.
I'm really liking the Villager, though. Not that I'm much better at playing them than I am with Mega Man, honestly. I keep instinctually trying to use his Up-B for damage, since I usually play folks like Ike and Link and Peach, who can actually hurt things with their Up-B.
Maybe I'm just not used to their movesets yet, combined with not being used to the controls. Doesn't help that the rubbery thingy keeps slipping off my circle pad.
"We're home, Chewie."the mere fact that the mega buster is his neutral A tells me that you're meant to play Mega Man as Mega Man, rather than as a Smash Bro. Jump n' shoot!

I found this page on the web, and it seems interesting, or at the very least handy to consider...

He is strange, Mega Man. But I love his moveset.
mega Upper is ridiculously powerful if you catch someone right on its startup. It's like Luigi's Up B, almost.
I have a message from another time...
