Why are the characters seen from behind in some pictures? Isn't this game going to use Ambidextrous Polygons?

"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Actual answer: People are eager for Ridley because he's one of the most viable new reps for Metroid, which otherwise has only a Samus and a more different Samus.
I mean, I think he should be a boss myself, but hey.
a.k.a. Cly, that one girl who doesn't post here much anymore Something something YI = SMW 2 = SMB 5.Ridley is the third most important Nintendo villain, after Bowser and Ganondorf. He's important and persistent in Metroid, being in a greater percentage of Metroid games in Ganondorf is in Zelda games. He's been in since the NES days. He's prominent outside Metroid, seeing how he was on the villain eshop takeover and in Nintendo Land. Even Brawl considered him important, giving him two boss battles while Zelda and Kirby got none. He's very deserving, never mind his popularity.
He's a very famous villain, in a game full of heroes. He has the potential to provide a great moveset. He's also one of the only draconic characters that is heavily air-based, which also makes him unique. He wouldn't even halfway work as a clone(even Ganondorf's clone status is logical enough for him. He can easily use magical punches/kicks if he wanted to. He's a buffed up wizard with the Triforce of Power). He has multi-hit fireball attacks, thus, not even a similar projectile to anyone(although Mr. Game & Watch's spamming of his Bacon comes somewhat close. As well as Fox/Falco's Lasers to a degree). Heck, the only similar move is possibly how his Up B flight could work.
And if the theory is correct, he might have the first direct Air Grab, which nobody so far has. By that, we mean a regular Grab that players can escape from. Master Hand and Crazy Hand have this too, but they aren't playable. Ridley being the first playable character with a true Air Grab would be very neat.(to clarify, every special that can grab in the Air is instantaneous. However, being able to perform a more regular Grab would be even better. As in pressing Z while in the air and not just doing either a regular Standard Air attack or a Tether move).
Shadow?Basically, it's because people want more playable representation for Metroid, and would rather it not be filled with another version of Samus.
So, people turn to Ridley, as he's the second-most recurring and persisting Metroid character. The third-most (Metroids themselves) really don't lend themselves too well to a playable appearance, and most other Metroid characters tend to show up only once/die in their debut games.
I have a message from another time...There's also the fact that Metroid fans are both really sore from Other M being a laughing stock and scared that it might have killed the series, so a lot of us are desperate for Sakurai to throw us a bone.
There's unusual circumstances surrounding that one, though.

Except not really.
The Charizard and Ridley thing is a much bigger stretch.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Just shut the fuck up and drop it, okay? I thought it was pointless but apparently people disagree with me. There's no use arguing about it.
