I'm really disappointed Lucina doesn't have a Mia palette.

Yeah, that's definitely a Viridi alt. No clue what's in between that and Medusa though.

yeah i think the 2nd to last toon link palette is link to the past blue mail. its the closest fit i can find, at least, unless its the blue clothes from awakening dx?

(man, the actual blue mail looked god-awful. vomit green hat, purple hair, brown sleeves, lime green gloves. guess it might be something else then...)

maybe it was just made for smash 4? maybe it isnt a reference to anything.

She's a character from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

[up][up]One of Ike's allies.

I agree that that would have been a neat palette for Lucina.

Why? Lucina's from Awakening.

She's the only female FE character in Smash and I like Mia's colors. I would have preferred that palette to whatever the brown hair, white cape, and yellow clothes one is supposed to represent.

Last I checked there was a lady Robin enjoying her company.

Robin is half male though and most of their palettes are probably going to be the different customization options.

That's besides the point. No character should have a palette swap for a completely different character, even if it's in the same series.

Uh, the hell you talking about? Several fighters have palette swaps based on other characters already?

Did you get palette swap and alt confused?

[up] At least those characters have something to do with their own entries. It doesn't make sense for Lucina to have a Mia costume because they have nothing to do with each other besides being in Fire Emblem.

I don't see why there needs to be a deep meaning to something as minor as an alternate color. Referencing another character from her home series would make perfect sense to me.

Ike has a Chrom palette so they're not against giving characters palettes from other portions of the franchise.

I wish Lucina had an Eirika pallet. That would look sweet.

I noticed a lot of pink and purple palettes there.

Did they just run out of color ideas, or does somebody on the team really fucking love pink and purple?

Also, we get the shiny palettes for Greninja and Charizard and maybe Pikachu (I didn't lok at those much), but not for Lucario? Missed opportunity there.

That's like giving Sonic a Chris Thorndyke palette. Why do it? The characters have nothing to do with each other in any way. Lucina's current palettes make sense because they are references to her party members, but a palette based on someone completely random doesn't seem right.

Giving Sonic a Chris palette would be almost impossible because Sonic and Chris hardly resemble eachother. For a Mia palette, all you would have to do is change Lucina's hair to purple and her outfit to orange.

Also, it's become customary in fighting games to have colour palette's reference characters from different franchises.

I don't care. I'll be using her default appearance anyway. Let's hope she has that awesome butterfly mask.

...If you don't care, why are you being so argumentative about it?

And she does. We've known for a while that she does. One of her taunts puts it on/takes it off.

It would had been hilarious to give Sonic a Shadow palette. Because for some reason anything that is shaped like a 'hedgehog' gets confused as Sonic.
