56547 Bingo. I know. I'm still butthurt over this and still pissing everyone off with my griping and moaning. What a surprise, right.
I don't know what to do. You're probably sick of this Coco Pommel avatar by now because every time you see it you just know it'll be me coming in to complain about how little Panel de Pon gets anymore and Nintendo selling out. My reputation here can't be salvaged at this point...

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSYes, Smash is a celebration of Nintendo's history...
...that they are selling for a profit in the first place. They're already clearly hoping that your nostalgia for older games will convince you to buy a copy. They still have sales goals to reach after all.
I kind of get your frustrations, Midna, but it's a little unreasonable to suggest that they can't undertake any sort of promotional activity for the franchises represented in the game. I have no doubt that they respect their history, but clearly they also seek to profit from it as well. The fact that Smash exists at all, as I've said, is proof of that.
And recent history is still history, so of COURSE they'll include newer titles.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectNo, really. I don't know how to stop. It's not like there's some dial or whatever you can turn and suddenly I'm less annoying. What can I do?

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSWell, the key to ridding yourself of obsession and such petty annoyances is to get a sense of perspective. ... I'm not sure how you'd go about getting that, though. Meditate, have a good laugh about yourself, lie down in a park and just let the wind tickle your face. Something like that. Just remind yourself that all of these things are ultimately insignificant, not just in the larger scheme of things, but even in the smaller scheme. Be thankful that you were allowed to have a wonderful experience instead of wallowing in the pain of not having your desire for the same experience further catered to. Be thankful for the fact that you are able to have wonderful experiences at all. Seriously do the thing with the park and the wind, it'll do wonders.
The only thing you can do is not take it personally. There are many franchises that aren't represented in Smash, and I'm sure it's not some sense of malice that drives Nintendo to ignore them.
For the Nostalgia to be effective, characters that people remember and love the most are always going to be at the forefront, and the obscure stuff that only history buffs know about will either be trophies or assists to be discovered. That's just sort of the reality of things.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThanks for the kind words everyone. I really do want to change - I want to let people know how much I love this series without being a dick about it. I want people to like it as much as I do and if I'm acting like this all the time, why should people be interested at all? It has to start with me. It's going to be a rough time getting there, but I hope I can.
But we've been off topic long enough. I'll butt out. As you were!
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSMidna, one way you can improve your image by talking about what is in the game, not about what isn't. Single-Issue Wonk is a problem when that is all what some one talks about.
Only sometimes postsI have to admit, I probably shouldn't have hoped for Masked Dedede's Revenge, but I just couldn't help myself.

I sure said that!@56552: I'd like to point this out again now that you're here;
Pokémon was only three years old when Smash 64 came out. (Seven months old in the USA.)
Xenoblade is four years old now.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — Ultimatepheer

...Unless they're sticking obnoxious advertisements within the game itself, as opposed to the ultimately inconsequential website, I still fail to see any reason to get offended.
If you really feel the need to complain at least try to find a good excuse.
