Balderdash. Ridley thrives on ridiculousness and we, his loyal followers, should do our best to emulate him.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Ridley is so big that he overtakes an entire conversation at the very mention of his name.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerThe reason the jokes are getting out of hand is because we're trying to get the most out of them. The game will be out soon and Ridley's role will be revealed as a boss or character. Therefore, we should joke about it while we still can and while Ridley is still relevant. After Ridley's role is revealed the jokes won't be as funny anymore and just annoying, rather than partly funny and partly annoying.
In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay. While I like Ridley A LOT I also can't see him as anything else as a boss. It'd be cool to see him as a character but it'd be so weird as well.

I will hold you to those words. You better have a video camera prepared.
While I'm here editing: "a lot" is two words, not one.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! You know what'd be funny with Riki?
If sometimes he'd use Play Dead.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI guess that'd work too. Make it subvert the "useless summon" and all.

Combine that with using "Samus" as a verb as we'd be golden.
Like Ridley as a character and Meta/Omega/Mecha/Clone/X Parasite Ridley as a boss?
...Now I wonder what X Parasite Ridley's screech would sound like on the Wii U.

On another topic, what's the general opinion of Miis here? I adore them personally, but they seem to be The Scrappy with everyone else I've talked to. Even Lucina is liked by more people than them.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerGeneral mii consensus I've seen is "I didn't want them in, but what they've done with is is pretty cool." I personally love them. My biggest fear about having playable Miis was that they'd just have generic sports crap as their only attacks, which they completely avoided so I'm happy with them.
(Plus it's the only way I'm gonna be able to play as Wonder Red and Wonder Blue even if its their civilian forms, and I hope there's a superhero domino mask as a head alt to make the illusion better ;-; )
Kind of like how
Team Fortress 2 uses "Hammer Units" as a measure of representation of distance (and thus speed)?

I think the Ridley jokes have gotten a bit too ridiculous.
