55373 Through a Mario fan website that detailed the regional differences between Panel de Pon and Tetris Attack as a feature. I've known about it since I was about five or six, actually. (Even back then I felt the fairies had more charm. X3)

Ice Climbers, Lucas, Wolf, and Snake are all cut. They may still be available as DLC in the future, but no promises.

x8 Um. I uh. Never played the game he came from. It just feels like it would have fit in terms of the leak.
It was almost like it they were saying 'Well, you've already likely seen him from that, so we may as well show him for real.'

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefGranted, game does appear to have nice visuals. The game should get brought over to west just so that this fabulous main villain gets added to collective Nintendo Rogue's gallery consciousness

Oh. By the way, there's an Assist Trophy part of the website now.
Any guesses on who could be playable in Smash 5?
I vote Phosphora...
@Trailer's name: I'm pretty sure it means both. I mean, besides being one of Shulk's quotes, "Looks like we don't have a choice" doesn't fit with what happens in the trailer. (I was expecting Bowser to be like that wandering lv. 90 monster in Gaur Plains going by that title)

I was expecting to see SHULK SMASHES IN! in his title card.

I saw this floating around in the Smash subreddit.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSo is that his only going into battle quote, or...?
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guy@Enlong: It's fine. Personally, with a line like that, especially in light of current events, I'm not surprised at some people seeing it that way...
Also, it was probably revealed earlier, but Ashley's attack is basically the Negative Zone Final Smash that Luigi used to have.

Nope, that's his battle quote when facing a significantly higher level monster.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Someone mentioned being surprised at how much dialogue was added in the English version, but I watched the Japanese and there doesn't seem to be a difference in the number of lines? They might be a little softer. ... They are also significantly less campy. "It's Shulk time!" is originally, you know, a title drop. And "I'm really feeling it!" is more like "I'm getting the hang of this!"
But yeah, I have to say I'm glad I never allowed myself to get as invested in character reveals as I did before. I very much sympathize with anyone angry and disappointed, because, of course, arbitrariness in design choices like these is still a major pet peeve of mine. But yeah, I didn't dare to really put my eggs in any baskets and ultimately I still got at least one wish granted, plus one that I didn't even know I wished for. So I'll be happy with that, weird choices notwithstanding.
Edit: Baffle Blend, don't be a dick. That was just uncalled for.

Mmmbrother, it's a Shulgasm.
55380 Yeah I've played it. It's not just the visuals that get me though, it's also probably the only puzzle game I'm legitimately good at. I enjoy it for the universe, the characters, and the gameplay equally.
This is kinda cluttering up the Smash thread though, I've got a Panel de Pon thread elsewhere in the video game forum if you want to move things there.
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSOkay, so a recent edit in the character's page made me question something very silly: What color are Shulk's clothes? I see purple, but Mindless Fire says they're red.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."His jacket is burgundy, his shirt is black with purple designs and some kind of pink (peach maybe?) and white hems, his shorts are a mishmash of colors I don't feel like naming, and his shoes are primarily burgundy with brown leather straps and a bit of black.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! Why are people automatically assuming that just because Shulk was revealed, the leak is real? Shulk has been a popular character for "dream team" lineups ever since the ball got rolling on Smash 4.
"Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy."

Oh hey, turns out they can't get every series well repped in a single game. Where's my Pushmo stage? There's limits to what they can do, and I'm sure a balance of advertising, popularity, gameplay potential, and more are considered when choosing the reps. Then they go obscure for Assist Trophies and the like.
