Regarding the music discussion, I'm really liking Full Steam Ahead
. Never played Spirit Tracks, but damn that's a nice song. That intro makes me think on another video game song, though I can't recall which one.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."One thing that's notable is absolutely no exact picture could be found for the CSS. They're all different poses. So if they did fake that part, which is very much possible, they'd have to have done it a fairly long time ago, taking each image, redraw it, and set it up just right.
We can't really judge the placement of each character since Melee even managed to muck it up. Pikachu had a very odd placement before, after all. But the thing is, even if that's the final placement, it's not severely illogical. Yoshi should be after Rosalina and Bowser Jr., but the dinosaur is still highly associated with the Mario series, especially since most of the games involve those characters. Wario is not to the same degree, as Wario Land and Wario Ware both have its own set of unique characters while barely interacting with the regular Mario ones. The first Wario Land, sure. And there's some cameos of many series, but the playables and major appearance characters are Wario-series characters. As for the weird placement of Lucina, those were probably all far later clones, put in the near last area right before the 3rd parties. The Xeno series was owned by Namco, so Shulk next to Pac-Man is not severely weird.
For the record, I do think it looks fairly ugly and the character placement could use improvement. But I do like the choices.
Shadow? The "clone corner" is one of my biggest issues with the CSS. Even if the roster is incomplete, it still looks to be an intentional act that all the clones have been put in their own little section very much removed from their respective franchises. For us fans who think in terms like "clones" and "slots" it's sensible, but for a developer like Sakurai it comes off as surprising and practically out-of-character.
Holy crap, the Wily Stage part of that MM 2 medley is incredible. I'm honestly fighting back tears listening to it. God, I can't wait to hear the complete medley and, y'know, without sound effects.
Well, Sakurai's wife designs the CSS. Who knows.
Also, again, may not be the final roster. The last picture we got might be a "locked all-star button", which shows that there's more to unlock. It opens up when you have them all. What I want to know is why the ERSB would be shown an incomplete roster, unless they weren't and we were only shown most of the roster, while they had multiple videos, including of some characters being unlocked.(I feel it's a stretch, but who knows)
And I agree with putting last-minute clones near the end is a logical choice(not that I think it looks good, which is a different thing), since they aren't planned very early on. Lucina pretty much was a later character overall, as Sakurai said himself. It doesn't make sense to put Dark Pit and Dr. Mario there unless they were either A) Upgraded alts and/or B) Were only slightly different from the original like Lucina specifically is.
That said, if there's more to come, I really hope the actual roster not just looks better, but has a better character placement.
Shadow?Guess what has already been SLAM JAMMED!!
With a bit of another song mixed in to change it up a bit.
Man, Botanical Sage is a genius. I hope this hasn't already been linked.

Hype? Proof it's more than just a simple screen? Almost every character can be seen or easily modded into Brawl stuff(Dr. Mario and Dark Pit especially). Using someone with zero screenshots since they haven't been revealed makes it very hard to debunk. Duck Hunt Dog and Shulk are the two best choices to showcase.
Shadow?I wouldn't call that a concrete rule.

Well, gee, it sounds so SIMPLE when you put it that way. Why didn't we think of that?

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project

I guess you could assume that screenshots are from test version with unfinished UI, but that would be bizarre considering how UI seems to be much different from E3 one <_<
