So Zelda has 3 A Ts now, this reminds me that I should go back and play Skyward Sword.
I don't know how two leaked images among the set(before the Famitsu article existed) that matched up perfectly can be a shop job. Also, I don't know if I can properly link them. It depends if they were uploaded somewhere outside of Smashboards. Images link like crap there. >_<
The only way that'll even remotely possible is if they got that article early and made up everything else well beforehand.
A lot of the other stuff isn't odd either. The roster selection is extremely Sakurai-like. The clone choices match him well. As does every other choice. The placement of the roster may not be finished, much like in Melee, or he didn't follow a pattern and changed it up with some other thought in mind. One other thing to note is that the final copy may have a better looking roster design. Some of those may be placeholder images(like Ganondorf) as well for the ERSB to rate(if that's the case, DLC may be the reason why the roster is so oddly placed, as they can't rate those characters. Those who are on it are probably the final ones on the disc normally).
Besides, every single image it could be shopped from does not match a single one at all beyond old Brawl images at best. And the placeholder point makes this somewhat possible. And no, there aren't really any glaring reasons it could be a shop job either.
Unlike the Gematsu leak which had a ton of real holes, missed dates, and even an incorrect character, this has... almost nothing. At least nothing concrete as of yet. Keep in mind I am not entirely happy with some of the choices. But I don't really care about that when it comes to debunking it either. I care about really strong proof it's fake, of which none has come up. I visit a Smashboards leak group on this. Over 4,000 posts of trying to debunk this, and we've debunked those ideas with very careful analysis.
I am not going to deny it could be a shop job. But it's as unlikely as Wii Fit Trainer not having that alt.(which I even believed it was an alt, anyway. I just kept an open mind about it and wanted to see it properly confirmed, not a poor hint with just a "they have the same jumping animation" only).

Shadow? Not playing the game. But someone copying the images is not impossible. They still overall get to see the game. I may have poorly worded that earier.
We don't know if they got DVD's or directly saw someone play. I don't know much about practices, but if it was a DVD, it's easier to sneak images that way and it would explain the somewhat poor picture quality on some images. Also, well, the older images used and bland-looking roster design being placeholders is somewhat easy to see. Smash 64's older images had horrid spots for the hidden characters. Just a question mark with a colored background for the portrait. The final copy changed it to blacked out shadows with a background like the others.
I also would not be surprised if Sakurai made image choices for the portraits similar to ones he saw. Whether some of them will be the same upon release(besides old artworks) is hard to say.
- Not the final copy of the game. Of course the "quality" will suck for some portraits.
- What does UI mean? Again, quality cannot be determined when we have a weaker system than the Wii U(which we know already), and demos get different changes. If you mean the order, we don't know why it's odd. But this is Sakurai.
- None of those choices are improbable, period. Every single one of those are actually pretty likely at this point. Sakurai bias. The cuts aren't odd. Kind of like how Mewtwo was gone in Brawl. DLC may exist, or the ERSB didn't get any secret newcomers for some odd reason(leaning towards DLC as a more realistic scenario, imo).

Shadow? The fact that they don't play the game means that there's no reason for the ESRB nickname above Bowser. They only play the game after it's released.
Well, I can already tell September is going to be excruciating.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@Pulse: Again, what does UI stand for? And if that's the quality of the final roster, so be it as well. And it's a review copy. If it was finished for the ERSB to see(instead of play), it was probably made well earlier. We just got the images recently, after all. The demo stuff changes very constantly, so we can't really judge it based upon some meh images. That, and Brawl's final roster was also leaked without Wolf who was a secret unlockable nobody knew about. And it was real. You know, with improbable choices?
@Full Moon: Well, why wouldn't the person have that on Bowser to show it's a copy for the ERSB to review(Via DVD)? It kind of doesn't mean much. Nobody knows why it's like that. But thanks for explaining why they don't play it.

Shadow?

@54324:
It is. "Video Game Tester" is one of the most "not anywhere near as good as it sounds" jobs in existence. I've seen it taking a toll on the Super Smash Flash 2 developer team repeatedly, especially as the next demo release at the time draws closer.
