Please, the full roster will be available in hours or less from the game's Japanese launch, which is in a mere 24 days. Surely we can all wait that long.
Edit: The worst mimic of all time was Toe Jam And Earl, with the psuedo-mailbox. That thing moved like a wildcat and hit like a damn truck.

Video game fans and patience rarely appear in the same general vicinity of each other.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectAbout the whole clone discussion, the funny thing is, it was confirmed in Melee by Sakurai that Dr. Mario did get in over Dedede-but so did the other clones, considering this was literally a rare case where we know that characters were decided against each other. Maybe a similar case can happen here where, for example, 1 additional potentially unique character was weighted up against 6 additional clones as last minute additions and the clones won out due to Sakurai wanting more quantity.
Jo's theory: Sakurai be trollin'
What DLC? All I remember people posting here is just a link directly to the supposed leaked screenshot.
There was also apparently a post about DLC. Consisting of veterans and the Chorus Men for some reason.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectShulk is one of the regular on-disc characters. According to the related leaks. He was never on the list of DLC guys.
And it doesn't matter if a lot of people hate it(and I'm not so sure of that anymore, I've seen extremely mixed feelings. Some just want the characters at this point), it's very normal and likely due to that alone. Nintendo has been pushing DLC a lot lately.
Really, the bigger complaints is if they're not free at this point. Online has hardly been an issue with the 3DS or Wii U for most, so...
Shadow?Free would be fine. That would indicate that they genuinely ran out of time and used post-release to finish up what they wanted to include. Paid would depend on the circumstances. I have no idea if they wil do it, but Nintendo would almost be foolish not to do it. We'll see probably some time after the Wii U release.
They could also just do what plenty of other fighting games have done with character DLC and people are okay with—make them free for a limited time and then paid after. Skullgirls did it (albeit mostly with the justification of "they paid for it already with that crowdfunding campaign") and Persona 4 Arena 2 is doing it too.

And characters in Smash are what people want, so DLC is a godsend to them for those who didn't make it.(for instance, Mewtwo)
And obviously they'll be balanced around the current cast anyway. Patches aren't even required for that. It's not like they're going to refuse to test them before release.
That kind of problem just doesn't exist. Especially now that it's more than Sakurai doing the balance.
Shadow?

I don't mind the 3DS stuff at all, but Smash Run could use a few less pictures. More Stages, like past ones, would be nice(especially n64 stages).
As for the leak, I honestly have zero issues with any of the character choices. They all make a ton of sense to me overall. If the DLC is true, the other veterans back is great. I think the reason IC's are DLC is because they didn't want to waste time on something that is hard to implement, and save it for when the main game is already done, so they have no deadline for it.
