No, it's confirmed that the lack of a tipper is the only difference between her and Marth.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyShe's probably nothing more than a glorified costume swap. Like it makes sense for an avatar character and actually what many fans were hoping for with Pokemon trainer in brawl but it does look kind of bad when after years of not having a FE female playable the ones we finally get are just femcopies of already male ones, gameplay wise.

I'm not entirely sure how else you would define a clone.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyGuys, really, there being clone characters is nothing to worry about. They aren't replacing anyone, they're just thrown in because they had extra time. There's not a hard roster limit. The only thing that would limit the roster is time and disc-space. If you think that the choice is Dr. Mario or Mewtwo then you're kidding yourself. The choice, presuming the leak is real, would be Dr. Mario or nothing. And even if that leak is real, there might be some characters that the leaker had not unlocked.
Come on now, this is TV Tropes. Clones are things for people on the Game FA Qs forums to bitch about.
@Darth Taco: Melee's clones were chosen over King Dedede.
So it could very well be a choice between Dr. Mario/Dark Pit/Lucina or Mewtwo.

To be fair, Lucina might not be a clone. There's definitely the possibilty for different specials/Tilts/smash attacks.
