@Pulse That's perhaps The Stinger regarding this whole thing. They're nothing new and we saw them before, but people sees this as a new thing and promptly demonize Sakurai and the people working on it. Not all, not even most, but the vocal people are really vocal...
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashLets go ahead and just make Super Progressive And Politically Correct Smash Time Nintendo game.
We need to add in a Big Beautiful Woman to appease the crowd outside the impossibly skinny lady lovers! Quick, who is our candidate?
@Kurgy: Oracles Impa or Telma, off the top of my head.

That's pretty much the biggest problem, and it makes people seem like they're just jumping on some bandwagon instead of critically thinking about these things.

The Other M designs seem pretty much the same to me.
They had the hooks on the back. Those are... kind of heels? Not that a morbidly obese woman should wear heels.
I'm wondering if my posts are being taken too seriously here...
So hey, just a thought, but as Multi Man Mode is going to use Miis now, will they be ported from your Mii Maker, or will they be some generic bunch from the games code? I don't think that was ever clarified.
Being able to decide what kind of army you fight instead of them being some boring generics sounds pretty nifty.
The only complaint I had about Other M was indeed the story and characterization of everyone. Everything else was okay to good.

People act like there was an option to completely ignore Other M. It was the most recent Metroid game, so no, there wasn't an option.
