I wonder if the person who made that video was bullied in school by someone who thought the Morph Ball was the most awesome thing ever, or something.

@Customer: Lucas, Falco, Wolf, various clones(that weren't in Brawl), Ganondorf, and maybe Snake.

The one thing about the morph ball that might actually be useful is how its smooth surface and spherical shape might allow for a high speed:energy ratio when traveling.

i think...for a metroid to crawl it would be somewhat required for it to move on the ground as opposed to float.

also, physically possible to make a morphball or not, i still prefer the energy rearrangment theory. sounds more interesting.

I honestly never thought Mewtwo would be coming back, because I knew it would either be it or a newer gen 5 or 6 pokemon Gamefreak wanted to plug, and my cynicism dictated the former was more likely than the latter.

[up][up] yep.

im not that familiar with metroid outside of fusion and other m and a bit of all the prime games, so references are going to be missed. a lot

Like the other characters (such as Lucas and Ganondorf), I just forgot to mention it. It's why I asked though.

I guess I also thought more vets that were revealed than what we have seen so far...

I wonder if there'll be unlockable characters or not. On one hand, with so many veterans still unrevealed and the game's release less than a month away, it doesn't seem like all the characters will be revealed before release.

But on the other hand, a lot of the already-revealed characters were secret in previous games, and several of the unrevealed characters were starters in previous games. So I dunno.

I hope we have secret characters. I don't mind if they've reconfigured who is unlockable, though. I expect Marth will be a starting character now, and one of the other FE characters will be unlockable.

I'm pretty sure Marth and Ike will be starting characters while Robin and Lucina will be unlockable.

I meant at least one, yeah. But I suspect two.

I get the feeling that Marth and either Ike or Robin will be starters, while Lucina and either Ike or Robin will be unlockables.

I'd bet Marth and Robin are the starters. It'd seem odd to make a video introducing Robin if they're a secret character. Lucina has the excuse of being a bonus character of sorts, and not the primary introduction in that video..

I'm also of the opinion that either Sheik or ZSS are unlockable characters. Neither of them really seem like starting material now that they're individual character spots.

Wasn't it mentioned before that the characters would be getting their own little movies to make up for the lack of a story mode?

Plus, Paccy (among others) doesn't really seem like starter material either.

Oh, right, I do suspect the third parties will be unlockables like in Brawl, despite being advertised beforehand.

They've shown a lot of characters(besides Luigi who was only shown for a special reason) that would normally be unlockable already. I still think we're going to have them.

For the record, I did forget Mewtwo, but imo, I don't find him nearly as memorable when it comes to SSB. It might be because many more characters were playable outside of him. Having one chance to be played, and he wasn't very good, doesn't help. But if you want to include him in the "list of clones"(since he's technically a clone of Mew), go ahead. Either way, I don't feel terribly confident about him returning compared to Jigglypuff. Good chance, but not as guaranteed, imo.

I am rather fond of ZS Samus's new costume. Stirs up some nostalgia of fond memories of Metroid Fusion.

Great, now the Straw Feminists have more to bitch about Samus.

</sigh>

It's just a game character wearing what would be the most comfortable under a suit of armor. Except she is not wearing armor...

Maybe we should round up a bunch of people to get upset over Arthur and his Goofy Print Underwear?
