Considering it's just a casual pair of shorts and top, I couldn't be more happy that they went with that over one of her swimsuit versions. It's almost identical to her Fusion version(colors aside), so it doesn't bother me. I understand the complaints(although the Heels are far more of an issue. I am glad they're rocket-based, so they're more than just a "uncomfortable footwear").
Shadow?I think there's also considerably less backlash due to the costumes hailing from the well-regarded GBA games, rather than being associated with the specter of Other M, as the redesigned Zero Suit was. That, and despite showing more skin, these definitely seem to have less of a sexualised vulnerability thing going on, instead being comparable to the outfits of the Wii Fit trainers.
...I'm glad Sakurai was smart enough to point out that it was a female designer who championed this costume.
...I actually kind of want to see that. I'm sorry. :p

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerSo similar to the reaction to the Zero Suit being added to Brawl's roster then.
Personally, I think we should just wait until a reaction happens instead of worrying about it now. I don't really see a point in getting worked up early (which isn't happening in this thread; I'm just referring in general).
I still wish Sakurai would get a move on about Ridley at this point, but I'm guessing he's fully intending for that info to be discovered at release.
Most of the outrage is Twitter based anyway.
I wonder if they will ever announce the Ice Climbers this week, or ever.
Also, I did not expect today's Pot D.
What stuck out to me was the fact that it was added very late in development. It's good to know that they're still making changes.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerZSS has never looked particularly good in close-ups. Every humanoid model has had instances where they just look twisted and weird, but Samus gets it the worst. It seems to be a thing with the way her move set is designed or how the model is rigged.
From the normal Smash perspective, it probably doesn't matter all that much, but in screenshots she's always a bit off.
