More Smash Run stuff, namely the menu of equippable items.
My theory is this is what "stickers" were turned into.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!About the Ridley size issue: correct me if I'm wrong as I have never played a Metroid game, but doesn't Ridley change forms and sizes after each time he's killed by Samus? First Metroid he was just a hair taller, then he became about twice as tall, etc., so why can't we simply assume that a down-scaled Ridley in SSB 4 is just him having revived himself but just not enough to be ultra-super-mega huge? It's not like Smash Bros is canon to any of the franchises represented in it.
THE MORALITY OF MAN IS NOT A SIMPLE CONSTRUCT! IT HAS LAYERS AND LAYERS OF COMPLEXITY! - Monkey Dee LuffyRidley's size variance is not an in-universe thing, it's just inconsistent depiction. The first Metroid game had size limitations thanks to being an NES game; the GBA remake used a larger sprite for Ridley.
Even at his biggest Ridley is never really as big as people like to exaggerate; his size generally ranges from twice to three times as tall as Samus, though it's sometimes hard to tell his size when he's hunched over, on all fours, or otherwise not standing up straight.
Most people generally agree now that size isn't an issue for him to be in Smash Bros, it's just a running joke from the early days of debate.
(Also, Ridley has technically never revived himself. He's been clobbered plenty, but he never actually died until Super Metroid, and the two Ridleys faced after that game were clones created by the Galactic Federation and the DNA-mimicking X Parasites, respectively)
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Didn't the Galaxy games also have Bowser be the size of a small planet as well? In any case, his size is far more inconsistent than Ridley's.
@Blaziken X8: The whole "Ridley's too big" thing came about because that's what Sakurai (jokingly) said when asked about putting him into Smash. And since he's one of the most requested characters for Smash, it's ended up becoming a meme within the fandom.

Yeah, I know it's just a meme, and I never really found an issue with the sizes (looking at you Olimar), I was just thinking about how the down-scaling could be "justified", so to speak.
Also, was today's pic earlier than usual? Because I've seen some people saying it was and that it means there'll be a new character trailer coming today.
Please be Bandana Dee, please be Bandana Dee.

THE MORALITY OF MAN IS NOT A SIMPLE CONSTRUCT! IT HAS LAYERS AND LAYERS OF COMPLEXITY! - Monkey Dee LuffyBandana Dee getting a trailer after Meta Knight was reintroduced so plainly would seem...kind of weak.
Even him getting introduced in a trailer WITH Meta Knight seems pretty weak. Bandana Dee isn't THAT much of a superstar.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay
I know, I know, but I'd like to see the little guy in SSB 4. Not as much as I'd like to see others like Shulk or Snake (another with next-to-no chance), but I'd still want him in. And hey, the Kirby franchise still doesn't have a newcomer for SSB 4 (though neither does Legend of Zelda, Metroid, F-Zero, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, etc).
Somehow I'd imagine Adeleine
to make a better newcomer. She's more...expressive.
Also because she's an artist. Which goes together with expressive in some punny or metaphoric or synonymous kind of way, it's too late for me to be thinking in adjectives.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayShe would be an interesting choice. But since you brought up the "superstar" thing, Adeleine hasn't made an appearance since Kirby 64, which would make her less relevant than Bandana Dee. Not that that matters, since Sakurai doesn't use relevancy as a requirement when picking characters (does he?), but still.

I don't think I'd be comfortable with Ridley in the game, due to his worrying focus on killing and harming human society.
You might say that Ridley is too bigoted to be in Smash Bros.
