I'd personally tweak him to be more Difficult, but Awesome, with extremely narrow hitboxes and frames for attacking but nice speed to back it up... but he's also a bit of a Fragile Speedster.
Wait, that's exactly what he was in Brawl minus the "difficult" part. Hmm... we know his recoveries will be more limited so he can't fly back whenever. That's already a start.
Maybe make it so Mach Tornado lacks any upward movement in the air? More horizontal than anything.
Pit didn't have a glide. The Pegasus Wings gave him free flight.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse Alberia...he could?
To be fair I only discovered Charizard's glide recently. Learn somethin' new every day...
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaSpeaking of Mach Tornado, it looks like it's the only Special Move not in a pic on Meta Knight's page. Maybe it got shifted into the huge version from the Kirby games as a Final Smash and he's getting a new Neutral Spec?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Yeah, and when he hit Kirby with it you'd be launched sky high. So it at least has origins in the game itself.
Sometimes I wonder why he doesn't have a Sword Beam for an attack, but eh. No biggie.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI knew about gliding, but could never really do it.
So wait... is the girl in this video Lucina?
If so, it changes one of the reactions a bit.

Indeed it was. It was Wing's throw attack- knocks an enemy into the air, and then rams into them while gliding/dashing a short burst forward. It seems that it'll be closer to that this time around.
...although Meta Knight got the Shuttle Loop in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, complete with the ridiculous glide and being overpowered.
I'm not sure if Drill Rush or Dimensional Cape have origins in the game, though.

Drill Rush is part of the "Master"
moveset from Kirby's Amazing Mirror, which is the ability where Kirby acquires and uses Meta Knight's sword to fight with.
Dimensional Cape is supposed to be the name of Meta Knight's cape (much like how his sword is called Galaxia), but the Final Smash itself doesn't really reference anything from Kirby, outside of the context that Meta Knight's cape can do badass things (it's implied in the games that its what helps Meta Knight teleport and - depending on the game - its also where his wings come from).

Lucina DID get a special DLC CG
◊, however, though it's definitely played for cuteness.

I sure said that!It was...indeed a Boss fight.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Dark Meta Knight can do that move because of his mirror abilities. Regular Meta Knight doesn't have that.
I wonder if Dark Mind taught him those moves or something, or if it's just an inherent property of beings from within the Dimension Mirror.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'd definitely like Revenge of the Enemy, and one of the three final boss themes. Though all of the game's boss themes are grand, even by a Kirby game's standards.
Only problem is it's probably too late in development to add Triple Deluxe content. Otherwise Kirby's Final Smash probably would have been Hypernova.

Ehhhh
With occasional exceptions (Blood Falcon for example, although the differences there are minute anyways), I don't typically like the idea of alternate costumes being entirely different characters. Color references are fine, but making the full character a simple model swap never sat well with me.
Hence my gladness Lucina is her own character, even if she's barely different from Marth gameplay-wise.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaWe all knew it would happen, but Meta Knight's reveal means the Smash 4 roster officially have matched numbers with Brawl's. Even if we didn't get any more newcomers, getting all the unconfirmed vets that were in Brawl back would put the roster's count past 40 characters (this counts PT's Pokemon, Zelda/Sheik, Zero Suit/Samus and the 3 Miis separate from each other.)
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! We know Lucina was a last minute clone. But there's more to it than that. Players of 4!Marth would notice he's quite different from Melee/Brawl. Lucina appeared to be designed to play like past Marth instead. That's pretty much the only reason she makes sense as a clone, to keep the old character around.
Daisy nor Blood Falcon have this circumstance, and they were already costumes blatantly based upon them. With the tons of alts? Might as well just finish the job and make them full alts, as it also appeals to people who like the characters. Blood Falcon just needs a different face and shoulder spikes, and boom done. Daisy needs barely any changes, just a face(hopefully no voice >_>), and slight body modification, and of course, the earrings.
Shadow?

For the record, the post only said that MK couldn't glide out of Shuttle Loop, not that his gliding was gone period. If it really is gone for even Meta Knight, either it's gone for good or Charizard potentially just got a huge buff depending on if he's keeping his glide. That said, since the only gliders in Brawl were just Pit, Meta Knight and PT/Charizard, it's probably gone for good.
